Italy wants to put on trial 25 CIA agents. Is the USA legally obliged to extradite them to Italy? Is the USA going to comply with the Italian request that they be handed over?

I am pretty sure the USA and Italy have an extradition treaty which would mean that the US would be forced to extradite private citizens for trial in Italy. However, since these were intelligence agents, they may potentially not be subject to an extradition treaty.

Well, I am sure they will look and find out if they have an extradition treaty with Italy, and if they do, look for loop holes in it to save their butts.

But I am willing to bet there will be something "arranged" so that those 25 agents don't ever set foot into an Italian courtroom.

Psssh. Yeah, as if the usa government will do something like that, even if they're obligated to (I emphasize gov. because it's not been that the u.s. gov = the u.s. people for a veeeeery long time). Of course, if it was the other way around the usa gov would demand it!

Italy just needs to shut up. The US doesn't have to do anything after they saved Italy twice. Italy has no power as they are wusses. They have no voice. America rules all.
