Just want to see if I have this right? Liberals are concerned with emmisions and their relation to global warming, yet want everyone to be provided free healthcare and college educations. Won't that mean more people with better jobs, buying more cars and/or suv's and living longer, what about the contribution to global warming?

India, Africa, and other 3rd world countries are getting alot of help from us Americans, especially the famous ones, while in America, we have homeless people, starving kids, disease among our population, neglected and abused kids, senior abuse, and people who barely make it by. So I guess my real question is, Why are the American people left to suffer when American Politicians and other famous people give aid to others, How can we really take care and help other countries if we cannot help ourselves?

Is there anything you soldiers can tell us, as people, about your expierence in Iraq that can help us understand what is really going on in the Middle East. Our president says one thing the government says another. The Media says one thing, reality shows, another. I feel one way, strongly and my neighbor feels another. Most say Peace, the powers that be say War.
What Is It All About, And What Was It Like In Iraq ? Thank You !

Bush seems to be building up a case against Iran claiming they are providing arms for those fighting the ocupation troops of Iraq.
Do you think Bush and his followers should be much more carefull this time after the drubbing the administration took for the faulty intelligence leading to the 2003 Iraq invasion which has shown Bush to be such a poor President and war leader.

My bf's brother was living in this apt with his gf for a yr and their contract was up and she was moving back to Japan. But my bf's bro wanted to continue living there but his credit isn't good. So he asked me to sign the contract.I didn't want to do it but my bf needed a place to stay.So I felt pressured to sign it so I did. But I didn't sign a year contract. It was a month to month contract. I was still living with my parents. A month later I moved out with my bf to our own apt. I told the landlord I wasn't living there and I wanted my name off the contract. He told me he sent my info to his lawyer to sue me for not paying rent. My bf's bro didn't pay rent. It's been several months and I continued calling him to tell him to remove me from the contract and to just keep the deposit. If my bf's brother abandon's the place or wrecks it. Can the landlord sue me even though I told him that I don't live there and I asked him to remove me from the contract?

Mystries surrounds the death of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Conspiracy theories are looming large about the fate of this great leader who changed the couse of histry of freedom movement in India. The subsequent government of free India has not recognized the contribution of this great leader and freedom fighter due to reasons unknown to everybody. However he remains a demigod for most of the Indians who believes a conspiracy on the part of the leaders who compromised with the British and divided India. The government has maintained the air crash theory from day one and it has rejected the mukherjee commission report which says that Netaji was not killed in the air crash. If files of Russia, Britain, US, Japan and India are checked, the true facts will come. But the government has rejected all such requests due to unknown facts. It seems there is a huge conspiracy that could shake the country and even the world if truth comes out.

I hear from a lot of people that France owes us for something that happened 62 years ago. Ignoring the fact that the British contributed a huge amount to operation overlord, do we owe France for saving our butts in the revolution through supplying us with the majority of our munitions, as well as troops, ships and other help that America would've note existed without?

If France owes us for 1944, do we owe France for 1776?

Quick note: I don't actually support the ideology I'm asking about. Just wondering about it's existence (or lack there of) in moderate politics.

Talking basic politics 101 (very generalized). It can be said that the following is accurate:
Libertarians believe in social freedom and economic freedom
Conservatives believe in social regulation and economic freedom
Liberals believe in social freedom and economic regulation

What about the group that believes in social regulation and economic regulation? I've been wondering for a few years now - is it possible for such an ideology to emerge without becoming extremist? (like Stalinists - who could arguably be classified as this)

What i'm trying to say is can a party be like the democrats towards the economy and like the republicans toward social issues? Or would it be perceived by the public as too regulatory (and reminiscent of repressive regimes).

I usually see this ideology in areas that have low-income with a religious/moral base.

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. I asked the question about our young people today. I liked some of the answers, but some of them were just plain DUMB! If you can't allow a give and take, simply to communicate with each other on the subject of the war, to leave yourself open to criticism, we will never be able to STOP THE WARS! If you want to learn something, read "The Making of a Quagmire," (non-fiction) or "Why are we in Vietnam?" by Norman Mailer (literature). We will never change the attitudes of the Muslim extremists, so why are we bothering to help? Bush's self interest and his tycoon oil buddies? The same things were at stake in Nam, and after all those young men died, some of my best friends, did it change the world? Did it make things better? Did anyone care? Does anyone care now? If you do not have a stake, or if your life is not a stake, your generation DOES NOTHING. Protesting quietly never stopped the war in Vietnam.

Why, please? I asked a simple question about the Dixie Chicks and whether or not they annoyed the crap out of anyone else!?! And of course, I got this ever-prevalent little minority of liberals wanting to tell me I hate free speech.. Am I not allowed to criticize someone's speech without it being perceived as criticism OF free speech?? Where does that connection even come from?? I wish they would just shut their annoying cake holes, and it has nothing to do with not liking free speech. It has everything to do with them being retarded, pompous, and narcissistic. Why am I not allowed to be annoyed by someone? They're allowed to bash the president and say he's stupid, but I'm not allowed to say the same thing about them?? Why the hypocrisy?

I recently saw in the newspaper that one guy got sentenced to 800 years in prison for molesting children. Is there some legal reason that he would be sentenced for so long? I guess I'm just wondering why they don't just give him life in prison? Do they expect him to live 1000 years or something? Wouldn't it be weird if he actually did live that long and he had to be in prison for several hundred years? :D

What will you do if, God forbid, a democrat is elected and things take a drastic turn for the worse in the ME? Terrorists and murderious opportunists there pay closer attention to our media than we do. They are well aware of the division and disatisfaction in this country. So we elect a democrat who is intent on leaving. You think they haven't laid plans for this possibility? They're lying in wait for the thumbs up from us. And it looks like they may just get it. What then? I don't want this to happen and would do everything in my power to prevent it. But, I'm not all that powerful. So, no doubt Bush will be blamed then as well as now? I have no doubt. I just hope that those of us who support him all see this coming.

What happened to the days like in WW2 when all the men in america shut down everything to either help in the war effort or go fight. And don't give me this crap about we don't believe in the war. That is not what america is about. I don't know if we should stay or leave Iraq, but I do know that is where we are and we aren't leaving any time soon. And don't question me I am serving to this day and have been to Iraq. And have seen. Yes it is a diffrent war diffrent time, and the war is fought in a diffrent way. That dosent change the fact that this country is still at war. And real american men should step up to any call for our commander and cheif. I dont care if you like bush or not. I didnt like Clinton, that dosent mean I would not have fought for him. Where please tell me where are the real american men?

1. Malleus Maleficarum, the methodology for the persecution of women and also the philosophical basis for seeing women as inferior. A nasty book, that caused thousands of deaths and centuries of oppression of women everywhere.

2. The Communist Manifest, the ideas of class warfare come from there, and gave the foundation for eternal class confrontation and struggle, opening the way for communism as an independent form of political structure, beyond socialism.

3. The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Sion. A book about a worldwide conspiracy by Jews to have absolute power over everybody else. The mother of all conspiracy theories, with strong racist tones.

4. Mein Kampf. Hitler's main book, expounding the theory of Aryan superiority and the right to genocide, plus "Might is Right" as a valid policy.

5. Milestones. The book that started jihad and Muslim radical fundamentalism, advocating violence against infidels and spreading faith by the sword.

Which one is the worst?
