Many American's feel a certain sympathy for The IRA, and view them as noble freedom fighters, yet the campaign of teoor against the UK and Northern Ireland was bloody, and directed against civillians. Do You thing Americans would have the same view if the IRA had attacked America?

The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

The use and processing of ethanol is raising the price of corn which in turn is raising the price of corn based food products. This is especailly harming poor people who, in the past, have used corn as an inexpensive food source.

I am a model, & a few years ago the photographer who did my portfolio set up a website for me. I paid for it but he registered in his name, & did not include the purchase of my site on my invoice. 1 yr ago I contacted him to ask him to transfer the registration into my name. It was very difficult to get him to do this. 1st he told me that he couldn't, & then said he asked someone & it would cost me $200. My brother then contacted him as he works in the IT field, & the photographer then agreed to put it in my name. He emailed me telling me it was now in my name, & then stopped hosting it. I have recently decided to put it back up, only to discover he did not transfer it into my name at all. The domain name was due for renewal on 10th Feb, so I put my name down to purchase it when it became available. It has now past the 10th Feb and the photographer has re-registered it until 2008. The site is not even up & running, & he has no connection to it. Surely he is not allowed to use my name?

Will Chillary Clinton have a "Howard Dean moment" where she she has a complete meltdown in front of the whole nation. She might not do a scream that Howie did, but I think she will start screaming at someone who challanges her credibility or something.

I am interested in general perceptions of the institution of the Scottish Parliament - from Scotland and beyond ? Is it useful or has it created divisions ? What do you think of its operation so far and what should it do in the future. How does it affect the UK generally.

All opinions welcome - do your worst!

In Aug.'05, my hubby was recieving unemployment checks (he was honorably d/c from the Navy). The 1st check he got, the bank would not cash it, but referred us 2 a local check cashing rinky dink place so we got it cashed there...cool...now,
Friday 2/9, I recieved a letter from this rinky dink place after a whole year and a half talkin about my hubby owes money for a loan and had our OLD address but tracked our new one....they were threatening 2 take the car!!!! My hubby had 2 fly home from Baltimore on business and go down 2 this place and see what was going on (I was freakin out)...turns out, that one of the stupid employees sat up there & slapped his old file on a guy who had the same first & last name he had & gave him a loan. The guy was white (my hubby is black), the loan used the guys car as collateral (a Oldsmobile, we have a Maxima, the only car we have). They didn't ask 4 ID on this guy or anything..Do we have a case?I'm in Nashville,TN....this is ridiculous!
