The far left would suggest that the UN send a very strongly worded letter to Tehran.
Those on the far right would want to invade Iran.

What would be a proper measured and proper response?

Ironically enough, I was just having a conversation about how our family grew-up on Imperial Margarine . Mom never bought any other brand . And we were laughing about how the old commercial had people biting into a piece of toast w/Imperial on it, and then the horns would play.. . da,dada,da .. . . . and Presto ! A King or Queens Crown would appear on their heads (obviously implying that Imperial was fit for a king, or you'd 'feel' like a king or a queen when eating Imperial Margarine ). And then, somehow Nancy Pelosi came to mind as a related reference .. . .

So Does Nancy 'Feel' Like a Queen , now that she's Speaker ? One Bite Of The POWER Apple and PRESTO She's a Queen ?? All political puns aside.. . . .. . she DOES appear GIDDY to the max !!

Am asking this question (with more details) because many didn't understand it the first time, First of all power don't mean nothing if no one like you because love is the biggest power, remember power is part of love but not the other way around, Am just a average person and bush can't stop me from typing so where is his power and I challenge bush to fight me which he would never in a life time so what power has he got? And bushes salary is under half a million each year but make alot more through corruption but then that just make even more of a disgrace than he is. Blood for oil in not a good way of making money, trust me no one on earth will give a crap about you if your evil, killer, theif, liar etc well especially god isn't gonna love someone like that, Bush is never gona escaped death, Bush has truly failed all of his test as a human and has prove he belong with satan, So he managed to be hated by everyone apart from satan follower and has certainly secured a place in hell.

It seems if you are an American and have generations of history in this country , You have less rights than a fresh immigrant ( No matter what the immigrant did in the past ). And if you stand up for your rights as an American , The government will shut certain Americans down calling it discrimination .

I think an immigrant should live in this country for a test period of at least 1 year . If they are not gainfully employed ( paying taxes , Not taking taxes ) and following our laws and show they want to be here ...Then they can become citizens . If not deport them and let them be a burden to their country .

The one common statement I hear are immigrants saying . " Stupid Americans" .

Are we?

What do you think ?

The US is embroiled in a war against a religious faction. Isn't there a level of hypocricy in existence when a large percentage of Americans use their religious beliefs as the basis for their political stances...when we are fighting against a group that does the same? Why is it alright for Christians to use religion as a guidepost, but not our enemy in the middle east? I realize that their religious beliefs are very different...and their extremism is hatefilled. But hey, I read hate-filled garbage each day on this forum with respect to abortion and gay rights! How long before the Religious Right in America becomes extremist?

Barack Obama announced his Official Presidential Campaign. He compared himself to America's favorite President (Abraham Lincoln).

Don't you find it interesting that a Democratic Candidate is a comparing himself to a Republican?

If All Republicans are evil, how will Obama comparing himself to a Republican be perceived in Democratic circles who claim to hate all Republicans?

Should he toe the party line and distance himself from Lincoln who was a Republican?

Does it really shock them that we have "free time"? On most weekends I help out at a local hospital just outside the Green zone and after duty I sit on my pathetic Laptop and send emails to friends and family and yes get into a pssing match with a few Libs on YA. A few weeks back I was on a lot as I had taken some Glass into the neck and leg from a nearby explosion. I understand the hate for GW but now are the same Libs that say they support the troops slowly turning against us too? fun is fun but is this the first salvo of a return to Vietnam style hatred? I hope not although I may reconsider wearing My uniform on leave next summer!

It wasn't called "The Democracy Bell" and Patrick Henry didn't say "Give me democracy or give me death". More importantly, one of the key founders and author of most of our most precious documents (including the Constitution) wrote breathtaking treatise upon the vileness of democracy and the glories of a republic in the Federalist Paper #10. I encourage you all to read it:

http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/avalon/federal/fed10.htm

So why has the term "Democracy" supplanted "Republic" and "Liberty" in today's lexicon?
