I am going to suggest Ben Bernanke, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board. For a couple of reasons:
1. Nobody else has as much authority over the US economy, and therefore, the world.
2. He is not elected, so he doesn't have to pander to anybody.
3. He can drive the major stock market indexes up or down by as much as 5-10% on a single day with a simple, one sentence statement.
The Chariman of the Fed probably has more authority over your life by determining how hot or cold he wants the economy to be and by controlling interest rates than any other person does. Think about it... could you afford your house if you had to pay an extra 5-600 dollars a month in interest payments?
George Bush shares power with lots of people and institutions. The Fed doesn't, and the Fed really doesn't care if you like what they do as long as it has the effect that the Board desires. Not that it is a bad institution or Bernanke is a bad person... just incredibly powerful.

It's not a man for a start, and if they ever used their power, nothing would be the same again EVER!!!!, just think if all the women in the world decided at the same time to say no to their men, what would happen

Elvis ;-) no , just kidding.
Well I think it depends how you define power.
Power over what or whom ?
Money , maybe Bill Gates
Religion, maybe Jesus
The most power over me has everybody I love, ( don't have to be a man ) because they are able to hurt me the most....

I would think Bill Gates since he has the most money and I wouldnt think Bush even though he is our president since he has to go through the congress to get approval for what he does.
