TOW DAYS AND MYSPACE IS STILL DOWN>>>>> WHEN IS IT COMING BAC UP

I am in the process of planning my wedding and have came across the perfect reception site. My fiance and I have already looked at it, and really want to use it. When talking to the woman who makes the reservations, when asked about signing the contract, told me that there was no contract. All she does is send you a paper saying when the room is reserved for you.

What types of complications can arise in this situation and would it be a good idea to draft up my own to cover myself? I am a bit nervous about agreeing to the use of the room with nothing outlining my rights and theirs. Or is it if there is no written contract the other person cannot be held liable in court for anything?

Side note- this is avery well known establishment and has excellent references and reviews.

This appears to be true for both conservatives and liberals, Democrats and Republicans alike.

Alright just for fun, if you believe in him or not.
Lets see if there is a coorelation between political affiliation and reaction.

Your in the woods of Oregan, you have a high powered rifle and a camera.
Bigfoot walks out 50 yards in front of you, and looks straight at you what do you do?
Please give your political affiliation or Con/Lib so we can see if there is any sound coorelation.

Me I use the rifle, self preservation-fear-money-people not telling me I'm a nut are my motivators and I consider myself a moderate republican.

LEGAL ADVICE NEEDED:
If I joined a gym with "Holmes Place", and signed a contract for 12 months with that company, and a couple of months later the "Holmes Place" becomes overtaken by "Virgin Active".....is there any legal way to leave the gym without facing consequences for breaching the contract on the grounds that I've signed the contract with "Holmes Place" and not with "Virgin Active"? The truth is I am unhappy with my membership, but the gym, formerly known as "Holmes Place" is notorious for charging its customers even if they stop going to the gym (f.e. if I attended the gym for 2 months, and then I stopped, they are still going to take money from my a/c by direct debit for the next 10 months, because they will say the contract was for 12 months. I can ask my bank manager to stop the direct debits, but then the gym will give my details to a debt collection agancy, as it has happened to a colleague of mine). Is there any way out of this?

We Conservatives are going to join you and see if this whole 'Cut and Run' Idea works .
Let's start with . . . cut and run on the legality of abortion !!
And we'll cut and run on the whole 'no prayer in school' thing !!
And why not RE-DEPLOY ALL policemen from towns over-run with GANGS and send them ALL to towns with no gang problems . Yeah, I'm sure the gangs wouldn't be emboldened by that and they'd probably promise to stay in their current towns and just ruin them . You guys are right !!! We could negotiate with MURDERERS !!!!

THIS was obviously sarcasm. . . . . but it doesn't take much of a scholar to translate the similarities and stupidities to what's going on in Iraq and the rest of the world . Including OUR country !!!!

Are there any liberals willing to look at this with OPEN EYES ????
That would be the 'very definition' of being HONEST with yourself !!
Sooooo, Can You Be Honest With Yourself ?

If all the president's of the past where running in the next election, which one would you vote for, and why?

I like Teddy Roosevelt, he would do everything he could to fix the ecology and didn't take any guff off anyone. Besides anyone that can get away with saying "Bully" has to be the man.

I was told that a university (I believe they said University of Michigan) did a study listing all the attributes of a potential presidential canidate, then asked if a person would vote for them. Without knowing the identity of the person, some 60% said yes. It turns out the person was Hitler. Did this study take place? And, if so, is there anywhere to read it?

Yesterday I got my first overspeeding ticket and officer mention me I was driving 69 at 40 speed limit. I mention him that my wife is 5 1/2 mth pregnant and she was feeling shortness of breath and she was willing to stop by a food store to have some thing and relax. This is my first child and i really got penic so I might have drive little fast but the route i was driving has limit of 55 and some where 45 and 40 so i was not aware the limit has come down. Also there were no food store and it was a single lane road so I did not felt good to stop the car. I did mention this to officer but he did gave me the ticket. He mention that I should have called 911 but how could i call 911 without stoping a car. Is there any way I can solve this without paying the penalty. I will appreciate your answers.

Thanks

I HATE american foreign policy. But it surprises me to come across decent americans giving decent responses in this forum. Some time I like some of them. Is this normal behavior?? I am not likely to pick a best answer for this question. So serious first timers don't have to spread it a lot for points!! ( Should I put this in different sections to get response?? )
