I'm 35 years old and desperate to emigrate to Australia. I have an uncle who lives in Victoria but don't have the right skills set - I've always been a secretary/PA and am currently a legal secretary. As my current profession doesn't qualify on the skills category, I'm thinking of retraining as a hairdresser - I understand that hairdressers are in short supply out there. I'm proposing studying hairdressing in Australia for 2 years in the hope that they will grant me entry once I'm qualified. Has anyone done this and been successful? Does anyone know the likelihood of me being gained entry this way or am I just living a dream? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Global warming and cooling have been happening for centuries. There are periods in history that were hotter than it is now. For example, from A.D.900 to A.D.1100, global temeratures were much warmer on average than at present. Although it's true that carbon dioxide and methane levels have increased slightly over the years, and it may be due to man's efforts, all scientific evidence that has been gathered indicates that there is no danger of a global warming disaster. The predictions of global warming are based on theory alone. Nature contributes more carbon dioxide and greenhouse gasses to the atmosphere than man. While man contributes about 7 billion tons of CO2 into the atmosphere yearly, nature puts about 200 billion tons into the atmosphere every year. Nature has been doing this for a while and nothing has happened yet.

I'm not looking for an argument. I just want to know what your opinion is. Please give well thought out answers and list your sources.
Much appreciated.

Follow this through. We have a history of misstating what our conflicts are. I would say that what we did in Vietnam was a war, and what we are attempting to do in Iraq is a police action. It was a war, the first time we went over there, for about 23 days it was a war, then it was about the removal of a genocidal dictator. OK, mission accomplished. But the reality is that we are using soldiers to do the jobs of police. I came to the realization that what they are fighting is a series of inner-city street gangs with explosives. They are not hugely organized or united, except in their objection to us being there. They are warring amongst themselves.

Thats exactly what you'd be doing if you voted for Hillary. While in office,Bill shook his finger at us and lied in our face.As they left the Whitehouse, they stole the silverware and furnishings! They allowed the Whitehouse bedrooms to be occupied by a vast number of questionable characters, for who knows what type of "favors".There are many more SHADY dealings that went on while Bill and Hillary were in OUR Whitehouse, and I ,for one, would not like to see it happen again. So all you Bush-bashers,get out your {well Bush did this and Cheney did that} but please answer the original question; Would you hire the spouse of someone who lied and stole from you??

For example was Herr Speer "white washing" his involvementy or was he more of a nationalist kind of guy. Was his only regret that he got caught;i.e, his country lost or that he did wrong supporting the said regime.

How about Goering? He was involved fron the beginning. Did he blame and hate jews as much as Hitler and Goebels/Himler?

We posted an ad for a car and got a reply by e-mail saying he would send us a check for 1,200 dollars more, because it was a refund check on a car he returned or something, and we just send the balance back to him. I knew it was a scam right away.

I think if the election where held today, given the current political climate, the public would elect Hillary as President and Barrack as Vice President. So I came up with a catch phrase and I want to know what you think of it and if you have any suggestions. Or for that matter who do you think will be on the ticket.

Clinton/Obama-The impossible ticket. “Because we can!”

I served in the early 90's durning the Clinton term when they were focusing on miltary cut backs. I remember having to swear an Oath stating about "Serving my country" I am all for serving "OUR" country and couldn't give a rats back side about any other country and what they do, if "OUR" country was under attack at all times I was willing to put my life on the line for "OUR" country. With that thought in mind, if we were to mind our own business, stop wasting billions upon billions of dollars aiding other countries, and focused soley on "OUR" country what would the outcome be? Im sure that we have enough people with smarts, in a day of technology, in the US that can make up the things we have imported from other countries. If we built a wall all around the US and just focused on the US only, wouldn't that, reduce the price of everything, make us more "United", stop the numbers of deaths fighting a war, and make "OUR" country more at ease? Or would it make us more prown to attacks?
