just to see if anyone knows.

I know a 21 year-old girl that has 2 kids and no job. She just sits on her butt and collects Welfare and gets free medical care. I think they should have a 2 year limit on people collecting Welfare if they are able-bodied and can easily go get a job. They basically get free schooling, daycare, housing (Section 8). I think they should be cut off after 2 years if they have not enrolled in school and have at LEAST a job with 20 hours a week while in school. I get so tired of seeing women on Welfare at Walmart that dress their kids in rags, and they have junk food, and cigarettes in their carts. I know not all women on Welfare are like that, but a majority of them are.

I would like to understand how it is that most people believe that government officials who lie and clearly violate public trust should not be held accountable for their unlawful actions just like the rest of us? I do not get it. Think about 9/11 for example. If you or I were responsible for reporting that event, would we be able to withhold video evidence as the government is doing RIGHT NOW? The short and simple answer to this question is NO. We would be forced to show the evidence or we would be imprisoned until we did and even afterwards.

So why then does the Bush Administration and all other governmental offices get to withhold evidence and therefore not be held accountable? What makes them so special if this is indeed a free country with elected officials by the people and for the people?

Does the logic evade you too?

this is really a serious question. Do you think Bush's last 2 years will be the worst last 2 years for a president for the last hundred years in terms of his power and importance to the policies of America?

A former employer took some of my personal tools from my work station and put them into the service of the company. Upon being let-go from their service my property still "pressed" into service, made it known that I wanted my property and was told that I could regain it soon.
That was in early Nov., since then I have been in touch with my former leadman, the foreman/ plant manager and the owner himself.

I have been in contact, nither threatening or harrassing and am getting nowhere accept frustrated.

I either want my stuff or compensated for it, what else can I do?

I do not. I believe some jobs are not worth $5.25 an hour, much less $7.50 or whatever they are proposing. For example, landscapers should get a minimum of $7.50 an hour, but parking lot attendants that sit and watch TV, goof off and do nothing could profitably do the job for $3.00 an hour.

I think minimum wage requirements on employers is the death to small businesses and that makes the Democrats as anti-freedom as the Republicans have been. Think about it; if only the big corporations with billions of dollars can afford to pay the higher minimum wage, what is the obvious outcome in that scenario?

I hope the minimum wage increase is derailed. I know people with NO education to amount to anything who make excellent money. That leads me to believe the minimum wage increase only rewards slackers.

Clinton bombed Iraq on a regular basis.
He said in one of his state of the union speeches that Saddam is producing nuclear and chemical weapons. He said we must deal with him. Yet he failed to do anything.....

Sure the war in Iraq is a failure but doing nothing about Saddam during Clinton was also a failure. Do you hate Clinton as much as Bush?

Do you think dropping bombs without end is better then sending in troops and trying to establish a government?
