We shouldnt vote for father and son for president, thats like a king handing the crown to a prince. Hopefully Andrew Jackson gets elected and we can put an end to this whole mess so it never happens again. So is this current events or is there a topic group for past events? (thats a question whithin a question to add some ZAZZ to the equation)

Police say that they had to use gun which killed a criminal. Whereas it would be better it the criminal is gunned down from running but not killed. This type of gun can be used to disperse mobs, miscreans setting fire etc

The only real reason Canada and USA are sepereate nation is because the British Empire didn't want the USA to expand north. Provences such as Nova Scotia had rebellions the same time the 13 colony swere rebelling, except the British outnumbered them.

Now the British Empire is over, USA and Canada are free. What is stopping these countrys from unifying? Most of us speak the same language (except for the Spanish and French languages in USA and Canada) and we share history, culture, and even politics.

And Canada, being apart of USA, would've meant BUSH would never have been elected. Think about it. If Canada voted against Bush in 2004 or 2000 then he wouldn't even had gotten into office!


I don't know, I'm only throwing out an idea here. I dont' expect even 1 person to agree with me. So what do you guys think?

brought gasoline for us to clean our weapons with. gasoline makes a rifle come out immaxculate but it is illegal to use for that purpose. my question is, if i would have reported to an officer about us using gasoline to clean our weapons and the drill instructors would have been discipline for it, would that have made me a disgrace to the Marine Corps? the gasoline was used late at night in the head under flashlights

I am just wondering why everyone is so focused on Mexican immigration, and really no other. We have all sorts of illegal immigration going on. Everyone needs to take a look at your heritage, how many of you are Native America? This nation was built on immigration. I would like to know how many people have researched the process of immigration from Mexico, and what would you do for your family if you were in the same situation? Why do they make it so hard for Mexicans to immigrate to the U.S. Alot of this is due to 9-11, but how many Mexican terrorist do you know? I am a proud American...not Native American! I am of German and Irish descent who came here apparently illegally!

Everything he says sounds like it came out of a pep talk manual. There's a vacuousness there that's scary. They say Barack Obama has no positions, but I heard Brownback this morning, and he is a bag of every "We're moving forward", "We're going to be all we can be", "I want to teach the world to sing" clichés ever uttered.

What IS this guy, other than a bundle of transparent desire to get elected?

I know you can have a non smoking building, but this one appears you are not allowed to be a smoker at all.

I believe that every American should have healthcare. I also believe that it should be affordabe for eveyones budget. However, I do not believe that it should be socialized like it is in Canada where you have to wait just a long time period for an operation and where the health service is not always in good shape.

lots of other countries already have had female presidents? why not the US of A? there have many that have run, but i'm willing to bet you've never heard of them because the male dominated media controls a lot of what you see and hasn't supported them. On the political spectrum, I fall right in the middle at moderate. When I vote I try to figure out which candidate best represents my views (e.g. not as much of an extremist as the other candidate). My question for those of you who are more liberal/republican is: When you vote for the president (assuming you know little about them) do you just pick the person representing your party, or do you actually try to figure out what they believe in?
