I'm personally against the War in Iraq and I thought it would be great to mention the issue now that Bush wants to send more troops. Please explain as well why are you for or against the war, I promise not to be bias. This is optional, but for any American that answers this question, could you tell me the city and state your from? It's not to track you down or anything I just want to have a nice idea of where in the country these answers or comming from for my own curiosity. Again optional, but if your answering this question and not from the US, could you tell me the city and country your from. I think its so great to get Iraq opinions from people who aren't American. Thanks and I appreciate all answers!

I'm a moderate democrat. I'm a little peeved over Hillary Clinton's denial of her interests and intent over the past 2-3 years to run for the presidency. It makes me wonder, if she can't be honest with her intentions, can we trust her as commander in chief? In the past, every time she was asked about running, she pretty much said no, but hell no. Why couldn't she have just said "maybe" or "I'm not ready to talk about it yet"
Instead of blatantly lying?
Do you think this makes her look bad from the start?

The Bush Admin seems to think many fundamental rights don't exist because they are not spelled out. The 6th Amendment states"“In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed … and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; [and] to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses.” The MCA CAN be applied to Americans. The MCA states “Any person is punishable as a principal under this chapter who commits an offense punishable by this chapter, or aids, abets, counsels, commands, or procures its commission,” according to the law, passed by the Republican-controlled Congress in September and signed by Bush on Oct. 17, 2006. - That mean ANY PERSON. This will grant Bush unchecked power over people he identifies as enemies. If you think this does not apply to American citizens - think again !

This idea was actually offered by Dinah on another question that I asked. She suggests purchasing a large peice of land, barracading it off so that no one can escape, building housing on it and sending every prisoner in the country there. (Separating the sexes) There would be no laws or law enforcement. They would be free to do whatever to whoever.

That's her idea, but I wouldn't send a slight offender there, only the bad ones.

I think it would be hell on earth and we'd have people thinking twice before they commit crimes unlike nowadays, when they get taken care of, they get better medical benefits than most of us get and free education and recreational activities in prison. It would also cut down on our costs of supporting them and guarding them.

I think down the road he would be a great candidate, but not yet. Yes, he's black and outspoken, which makes him a standout, but he's still too inexperienced. At least that's how I feel...
