Just lends credence to my belief that elections are about 'who's most popular' - not about - 'who's able to do the best job' / / /\

IF there is an election, then she has a shot. but there are a lot of people who already do not like her. she has a lock on the nomination but may not be electable.
I would prefer that the democratic party take back the executive branch with a little more sure -fire plan. lets go with a white male as it seems to be the historical best option for success.
Later , when we have the dems squarely in power and they have done good work. then we can try to move to a black male or a white female.
we do not need the additional handicap of trying to do this now.
Elect john edwards. he will do well and is a team player.
Do not forget that Bush told us he has the power to suspend elctions in a national emergency. Then we could have martial law for awhile. do not be too surprized if he resorts to this. That is why I say IF we have an election. As president he should be able to maufacture an "emrgency" to accomplish this stall and power grab. He is capable of it and has shown his intent and willingness to do anything he wants. Nobody can stop him at this point.

Personally I want to hope Guliani can do something for us.
I havent personally researched his stand on issues ...YET, although I hear hes pro war.
Dont know will find out.
But Clinton seems like it would be another Bush
someone very clever who knows how to use the system for their own benefit.
Who would talk a big game but would fail to deliver on the truly tough issues.
Instead we would get just enough to get her a second term, then who knows from there.
At first glance she comes off as a very strong candidate. But in keeping in mind what shes done in the past and been involved with, well she scares me.
My money goes on a showdown between the young senator on one side vs guliani on the other.
He is winning on all the polls so far, so we'll see.
I like McCain, but I think hes just over stepped the issue where although his previous vietnam experience and his integrity are unquestionable, one would have to question how all that would affect his judgement.
The last thing you want is a soldier running the country..believe it or not.
Pilots yes...soldiers of battle no

Hillary "turning the different cheek" on invoice's infidelity is easily a piece on no longer wanting her as President. It shows that she'll settle for undesirable habit, which interprets into accepting undesirable legislations from Congress, and accepting undesirable strikes, including human rights violations, on the part of different international places.

"Clear"? Clear as MUD!
There are other Democrats out there that are looking much better than she ever could.
Obama has come out of the political nowhere to become the most talked about presidential candidate. Already, the charismatic Illinois Senator is the media’s darling. In comparison, Clinton will have difficulty playing the charismatic role. Current polls show newcomer Obama running neck and neck with Clinton.
Clinton a shoe in? FAR FROM IT!

Wow! Did you take a trip to the future, in a Delorean perhaps?
This is no slam-dunk, by any means. I think that woever is elected will moderate the nature of our nation and our foreign policy. I am not so cynical as to call the Bush presidency a "Tyrannical reign of terror", but I am unhappy with it and have been since he was first elected.

That's a laugh, healing process if the screaming banshee gets in office? That's like Pelosi's statement of the partisan bickering will stop when she is Speaker.Quite the opposite.Maybe her and Hillary should hook up and listen to each other screech.

Hillary will never win. Those in the Bible belt in the south will not permit a female, let alone a liberal female, to be president. Same reason Obama cannot win. It's difficult to win the presidency without capturing at least some of the southern vote, and I don't think they're ready for anything other than a white male president. Hope I'm proven wrong.

Riiiight. Hillary Clinton, the most polarizing political figure in the democratic party, is going to be the one to "lead the nation into the healing process". Give me a break.
