should india continue as a democracy despite its corrupt leaders?

there is family politics, crime, corruption in india. voters are not given enough choice or are forced to vote for a certain party. looking at the current situation should india continue with democracy? is there any point of haing a democratic constitution when no one seems to follow it?

I'm sorry, I missed the part where ANY country didn't have corrupt leaders--especially ours..... How should WE continue then?
