An interesting question brought this up. Republican or Democrat if you are voting for President. Do you vote for the best person for the job or do you just vote for who gets the nomination for their party? Also explain why you vote this way?

Did we not elect our politicians to lead our countries policies? Why then are those same politicians involving themselves in the politics of foreign countries and using our tax dollars to do so? When our problems at home are fixed then maybe we can start to look around the world to see who we can help but right now are there not pressing issues right here at home that need to be addressed? Why should politicians think they have a duty to use tax dollars to stop terroism abroad when it exists in various forms right here in North America?

I think she has a strong political background. And is clear on foreign policies and treaty's. I think she brings a vast variety of experiences with her. Why don't we give women in this country the chance to run for the highest office of this United States? I would vote for her, would you?

the same swap out that has driven our country collectively in the ground! Is their desire for a female president so strong that they are blinded to the fact that it is time for new blood in the house? who ever it may be!

As I understand it, any original material posted on the internet is legally copyrighted by the original poster of that material. Would this apply to information posted in forums? If I wanted information deleted, such as an essay or story, could I force the owner of the forums to delete them if I'm unable to? What about posts that quote my original post?

The generation that espoused "don't trust anyone over 30" is now twice that age; and is also running our country. Social Security is going to bust and the country will be bankrupted from the medical costs when the 60's generation becomes geezers. And nothing is being done to ward off those upcoming crises. Much like what happened at Woodstock, other people are going to have to clean up the hippies mess. Who's ready for Generation X to come and put things in order?

Hi to all, I have been working at a hotel as a front desk agent for about 3 years now. I was hired as full time and i have always worked my 40 hours, anyway this new manager who has been here for 2 months now is terrible, he cut down my hours to only 1-2 days per week, because he said that there can only be one person at the desk in the mornings, anyway he only puts me on sat and sun am. and how am i supposed to take my 1/2 break that is required here in mass. I have to hurry up to go to the bathroom and eat really fast in the back and I cant even sit for 5 min. We had a meeting 2 days ago and I told him isn't it requiered by law for you to give us a 1/2 hours break if we work 8 hours shift?? he said in a really rude way " This does not apply for the hotel industry. So I told him him that I would call the workers rights, and he said " Well call them then. and tell them to call me! He is very mean and being very unfair to some people wich includes me? what shoul I do?

I checked with police and they said there is no policy on these "toy" sonic weapons, so I guess they must be legal, i think...

Why is it so difficult to purchase one of these, or the small electronics kits (to make one)? After all, how powerful can it be at like $350?

Is there some type of legal reason why these are tough to find or buy?
