Is there any other use for glow sticks, other than just for light?

I found a sack full of them in my daughters trunk, can anyone tell me if these glo sticks are used for getting high, or anything else!

glow sticks have been most recently used in conjunction with ecstasy, a popular "rave" drug. the effects of ecstasy are mildly hallucinogenic- the ecstasy users also sometimes use surgical masks with vapo-rub inside-because all of the senses are heightened-even smell. ectasy users also get very thirsty and tend to drink large amounts of water at these raves

Being on both sides of this( an ex club DJ.) If she listens to Club music and has glowsticks, she could be usin them in clubs to dance with. No harm there except the occassional overzealous police officer assuming she is on something. Or she is using exctasy and they are used to heighten the experience just like vick's vapo rub AND inhalers. But as for any other explanation why she would have a bunch of em in her car. I can't think of any. As we all know as kids we don't have that kinda foresight unless your parents tell you to keep em in the car.

Glow sticks are usually used for light. As far as LE purposes, we use them for marking an area thats been cleared...(room searches and stuff like that). I gave my wife some to carry in her car too. No harm in your daughter having some.
