Why do we not give them progress reports as we receive in our work place and if they are not meeting the standards FIRE them {This is what happens to us so I ask you society are they better than we are?}

Personally I think all elected officials should have to pay for their own insurance. That would fix things in hurry wouldn't it.

Are you trying to tell me I am going to get a progress report at work?

The main reason is that the U.S. government cannot
afford to pay for every citizen's insurance. It would be
monumental expense. If you don't like the way government
is running other things (even Medicare), then you surely
don't want the government running your insurance
coverage. Let each person buy what they can afford.
not wait on government handouts. Remember JFK's
speech, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask
what you can do for your country".

Because people don't realize it's a double standard. The one's that vote for republicans think that way.

It's called voting, if they are not doing a good job we vote them out
