Did we not elect our politicians to lead our countries policies? Why then are those same politicians involving themselves in the politics of foreign countries and using our tax dollars to do so? When our problems at home are fixed then maybe we can start to look around the world to see who we can help but right now are there not pressing issues right here at home that need to be addressed? Why should politicians think they have a duty to use tax dollars to stop terroism abroad when it exists in various forms right here in North America?

Problems facing America that look like internal terrorism 1. Drugs on the streets in most communities. 2. The increasing influence of gangs and gang slayings and killings especially in California, Los Angeles area. 3. An ever increasing prison system which seems to make troubled men get even worse. Especially black American men. 4. The general employment problem across America where more and more jobs are moving overseas while young Americans turn to drug trafficing, prostitution , crime and counterfeiting to make a living. If these points alone were to be eliminated then America would be the better for it, instead valueable tax dollars are going to fight a war that makes the rich richer and the poor forgotten.

President Bush is a very pure president. Think about it. What has he done for the sake of popularity? Certainly not issuing an order for more troops in Iraq. He is doing what is right in the world. Maybe he is not addressing issues at home right now because, contrary to what you think, are Not pressing. America is fine...he is looking at the larger picture. The long term picture. And that is the difference between a leader and a manager.
He is not in Iraq to 'lead people in other countries.' If he was doing that, he could have easily established himself there. He set up another government...AFTER getting rid of a dictator who killed many of his own people and harbored terrorism. Yea, 3,000 men and women have given their lives...and millions of terrorists have given theirs. Now that is a good kill ratio.

Get off your high American horse and look at the big picture. You will then understand that this is not for America, but for the world.

Your definition terrorism seems to be very, very broad. What various forms in N. America? We don't have organized gunmen kidnapping and executing large numbers of people, or car bombs in the streets/markets killing women and children. Or people willing to kill you because you don't believe in their religion.

I don't think you know what terrorism is!
