Why is there so many people running for president?

its a lot of people but out of those people i'm rooting for the female and the minorties. you feel me.

The reason is very simple.We need a change.We need some one with clean ideas.This charade is old and don't have any meaning.I think the people is sendind the message.Nice was about time.

there are always a lot of people running for president BEfore the Primarys. Then out of allll those people the final ones (pres/vice pres. candidates) are picked.. Dem., Rep., Lib., etc.
