The generation that espoused "don't trust anyone over 30" is now twice that age; and is also running our country. Social Security is going to bust and the country will be bankrupted from the medical costs when the 60's generation becomes geezers. And nothing is being done to ward off those upcoming crises. Much like what happened at Woodstock, other people are going to have to clean up the hippies mess. Who's ready for Generation X to come and put things in order?

The Worst Generation Ever needs to be stripped of all entitlements! Still sucking off the teat and accomplishments of their parents, the Greatest Generation, the Baby Boomers in power now have embarked on their own Vietnam and LOST AGAIN. Baby Boomers must be punished by their children and grandchildren. Boomers: Your parents were ashamed of you, your children and grandchildren are ashamed of you, you are a generation of failures and have brought America to the brink of ruin. Vote baby boomers OUT of office and vote to strip them of all entitlements. Solution to social security and medicare/medicaid? NO BOOMER ENTITLEMENTS.

I'm over 40....I've been waiting on gen x to step up to the plate for a long time.
ONLY problem...they care less than the boomers. Hell just look at the stats on registered voters. Gen X is too *&^% lazy to even do that....but they aren't to lazy to sit on their PC all day whinning about how screwed up the boomers made it.
Change requires effort....a whole lot more than needed to operate a game controller.
THINGS WILL change..but not for the good. Cuz genX'rs will be too lazy to take their wheelchair bond parents and grandparents to the polls to vote. So that leaves the illegals to do the voting and policy changes.....Welcome to AmeriMex...let's all pledge alligence to the NEW flag

From the grammar, spelling, and attitudes I've seen here, several will not be able to cope. I have also seen some really intelligent and deep thinking answers from the young people of today. Those that have the intelligence need to police those that do not. Otherwise not much will really change.

Every generation has a failure rate. But I don't consider Generation X mature enough or responsible enough to run a country. Maybe they'll get there in a few years.

By the way, the only failures are the hippies and we will vote them back out next time. We have been fighting them all our lives.
