There is not a single Indian politician admired or quoted for his/her vision in building the nation like Singapore's lee, Malaysia's Mahatir etc.

Yes we have certain names like MK gandhi, J. Nehru , Indira Gandhi and rajiv Gandhi. They are respected for their work in other countries. Its us only that we underestimate their contribution.

India is a vast country. Most of it's politicians come with a rather narrow,parochial approach which is open to bias towards a particular group(regional, professional,buisness etc) determined by how much support he garnered from them to reach that position. Nation-building cannot be sustained on such a narrow-minded approach which every politician should realise. Till then their contribution can at best be described as lopsided.

So many contributions like Road, Electrricity,Water, education,infrastructure etc. All developmental programmes and schemes have been contributed by 10 % politicians. More than 90% politicians have contributed "corruption' - the present day's untouchability.
