If an illegal uses your SS# for work, the money is placed in a general usage fund....for our great leaders....of both parties.

Furthermore, Social Security WILL NOT contact you about this fraud. It's covered under the privacy act &^%*^&

I'm not sure I understand. If it's fraudulant why are they crediting any money to anybody? Why would they pay out SS to someone knowingly using someone elses number?

Questions that do not give sources are frustrating and generally inflammatory, in that, without a source to check, it appears to be nothing more than opinion. As a taxpayer, I am interested in protecting my investment in my future, and would really appreciate being able to review/research these types of issues. Would you kindly amend your answer to include a source, to enable me to do so? Thank you.

Don't they have to wait and see, if it is mine, and the name is wrong? I bet the IRS boys, would come right to my door, if the taxes weren't paid promptly.
