We shouldnt vote for father and son for president, thats like a king handing the crown to a prince. Hopefully Andrew Jackson gets elected and we can put an end to this whole mess so it never happens again. So is this current events or is there a topic group for past events? (thats a question whithin a question to add some ZAZZ to the equation)

I think people are obsessed over this. I want to know why its not OK to have father and son in as president but it's OK to have husband and wife. Now that's one sick mess right there.

First, no one has a "strangle hold" on the presidency. Second, I liked both senior and junior and voted for them both. Third, if both the father and the son are capable, which senior and junior are, then what's the problem? A king hands the crown down to his son once the king dies. He doesn't wait about 20 years and then allow him to rule with a few guys in between. Finally, I don't see any zazz.

It's no worse than have a President want to become King by holding on to the Presidency so long, like F.D.R. Isn't 2 terms ENOUGH? I'm pulling for Dewey in the next election. Maybe he will bring our troops home too.

We may have just started a new category.

Voting for a first lady for president on name recognition alone is the scariest event ever to take place in the history of politics.
