We should be able to fire him and why has that not happened {why do we elect an official and then they should have better than us {like why do they go 1st class or a private Jet} who made up these rules???

We should expect leadership, integrity and courage to tell us the truth. So far, Bush has 0/3
I believe that the problem is not what we should expect, but what we look for in an election. We are so puritanical that we elect a symbol, an embodiment of the flag, and then wake up to see that a person is in the White House.
The idea that "values" helped elect Bush, especially from the religious right, shows how corruptible our national heart is. We elected a President because of his high "values" who then debated if we should follow the Geneva Convention, who allowed torture of prisoners, who snatched people and held them incognito, who took the lawyer who wrote these opinions and made him Attorney General (guardian of our rights!)
Bush is the least ethical, least moral President we have ever had.
The real question is how do we CHOOSE a President who will be what we expected?

We expect different things. some expect a leader, above all. A King, some one you put Faith in. Others expect honesty, accountability. More like a C.E.O. to run the government, with over site from us. the presidencies is not a popularity contest. BUT we act like it is! Just look at the men we elect. A smile, a wink, a swagger. A thinking man { or Woman} will never be elected. Look to the people behind him. If they are of good character, Then with luck he { OR SHE} will be also.

We can fire him! It is called the Articles of Impeachment. And if he is as bad as the LIBS say, why have they not done it?
I would expect my president to defend the Constitution of America. To defend our borders, to look out for the US first. Do you honestly think that ANY of the people in office right now are looking out for the US? Maybe Joseph Lieberman would, but who else?

We haven't heard one word of truth from the president since 2000, so I would have to say that some truth would be refreshing.
