Barack Obama wants to change the government so that it can be the way it was fifty years ago: Republicans and Democrats able to set aside their differences and resolve problems. Instead today we have both sides so polarized that they are constantly deadlocked in many situations and are not doing anything to help the country.

Do you believe in Obama's ideas and why? I definitely do. We cannot advance as a country unless politicians are willing to sacrifice some of their ideas and swallow their pride to negotiate and resolve issues with the other side.

My cousin wants to join the Army, he has a GED. I heard you get less benefits if you get in with just a GED, what are the benefits that he won't have??

He's joining as a 88m, i know a friend who recently signed up for that MOS and he got a $8k bonus, the only thing i assume is that they probably won't give my cousin a bonus.

He wrote about flying in private jets, who was flying him around in private jets? He doesn't own one, and the gov't doesn't do that for him.

Don't you liberals automatically associate that kind of behavior with being in the pockets of someone?

OR ARE YOU HYPOCRITES?

Polish and Middle Eastern immigrants have to learn English when they come to the United States so they have to learn English.

So why not Spanish immigrants? They decide to move to the United States to make a better life for themselves, but then never learn the English language. I'm not saying that learning English makes life better, but in terms of communicating with people I just feel that we make it too easy for Spanish-speaking people to learn to speak English when there are signs in so many stores in Spanish. They have no reason to learn English when their neighborhoods make it easy for them to communicate within themselves and only within themselves. This is hurting them because they cannot communicate with people outside of their circles (example: a non-English speaking woman had her six year old daughter order for her at a Dunkin' Donuts in front of me the other day). Is there any way to influence Spanish immigrants to understand the importance of learning English in the US?

For those of you that say we are "at war WITH iraq", and "killing iraqi's" tell me:

WHO ARE THE MIDDLE EASTERN PEOPLE OUR MILITARY IS TRAINING AND FIGHTING NEXT TO **IN IRAQ**?

(i had to add the 'in iraq' part, because a few weak minded people didn't understand from the sentence above it, that I was referring to Iraq. It is understandable, since they are most likely liberals who answered israel)

How can a police officer allow his police dog to work without a bullet/stab vest, just because his cheap department is unable to pay/afford a vest for his Partner (K9') Is a poor excuse.
If I was a police K9 handler I would Pay for the dog vest myself Or I would not wear my vest until my most trusting partner had one too.
PLEASE NOTE: I know their are several police Departments that are not like this, but Where I live It is the sad truth,Unfortunately.
QUESTION....
Should there be a law that protects innocent Dogs that do Protection Work / Police work by not Subjecting them to be put in danger without a safety vest?
