Are we just sheep being lead to the slaughter by this evil facist? Where have all the rational dissenting voices in our country gone? Is the Democratic push in Congress too late?

Isnt it more like a love for our country is the reason WHY we are so dismayed by what our president is doing to it,and our people.Yes I know the nationalists dont have the spine to look this question honestly in the eye but I'll ask anyway.
For example:

Chuckles D:
Hatred for Bush is a focal point for neo libs hatred of America. It simply is not PC to hate your country now and in order to survive politically, they need another outlet. So, hatred of Bush is, in its very essence, hatred of the US.

Huh?? Uh,no. Hating someone who has ordered more American to die in a war he admitted we went into on false intelligence and has killed more Americans than the 9-11 attacks is in "essence, hat red of the US" You wonder WHY I think these right-wing extremists are so screwed up.Theres the proof(chuckles)

or I wouldnt be here.I have many friends who are different races, and Im many different races myself. The reason I am anti illegal is because they(illegals)dont respect my country, they cannot come to America as respectful people in my mind if they break the law to get here, and what really pushes my buttons if you will, is when they demand respect, when they dont show any, they turn my flag, our countrys flag upside down after we Americans have givin them every possible means of having a life, they might do jobs here Americans cant do,becouse our government pays there way to do so,if I could work for $6 an hour and have no bills, yea, would be great, but I work for $6 an hour and still have no medical or free housing. To be American means you stand up for this country and pay your way,it doesnt mean a free ride.If Americans dont stand up for this country it will be another Mexico,or third world country, illegals cant keep using us ,they need to become legall and fight for freedomnot just expect it

Why do we all have to be Bush's conformist sheep, anyway?

Why do you continue to patronize a inept system with to many flaws? The constitution can be changed giving ultimate power to the legal Americans! More people need to be included "not left out" this system is extremely exclusive!!!

Perhaps USA should pull out of the Iraqi Civil War. The Sunni and Shia have hated each other for 1400 years.

If USA pulled out than Iran will come in and support the Shiites. But, most Muslims are Sunni and they hate the Iranians (who are Persian, not Arab).

So, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan will help the Sunni. A pan-Arab war will break out. Saudi Arabia vs. Iran.

Both sides will need to fund their war and thus, lower oil prices. Jihadists will be killing each other.

Fighting will continue until level heads and moderate Muslims realize that revenge and mindless killings are not the way to go. Arabs will have sorted themselves out.

Do you think that scenario is preferable? Perhaps the world will be better off that way and that is what's needed.

I guesss due to the holiday my rent payment was received late. I reveied a very treatening letter that was laid out in a way that seams as if I was being sued ( It said IMT vs plaintiff & my name). It also stated that if I did not pay my rent I would need to move out with in 3 days. Not only did I feel I was being wronfully sued but I also felt as if I was being kicked out.
I don't bother anyone in the building, I'm not noisy, follow all the rules & have never been late with my rent and I don't feel that after a few DAYS late i should be receiving a letter like this. A friendly reminder is one thing, I can even understand a late fee but a treatening letter?
Are they allowed to do this to tenants?

At first it sounds outrageous - obviously if you spill hot coffee on yourself, you are to blame. But then I read the details of the case. For example, the coffee was so hot that she received some BAD burns. She had to get skin grafts! And McDonald's KNEW that their coffee was at a dangerously hot temperature - hotter than most other places keep their coffee. But they hadn't done anything to correct the problem because they make more money by selling hotter coffee.

The new Dept of Stupidity could take over all the stupidity from the rest of the branches of Government.

This would transfer almost all the Federal Government Stupidity and move it to this one Department.

The Dept of Stupidity could be located in Washington DC next to the Dept of Corruption, Dept of Lies and the Dept of Ignorance.

They are all there located behind the most successful piece of camoflage ever invented...the American FLAG

14 people from an advisory board of the Carter Center resigned in the light of Jimmy Carter's position on Israeli/Palestinian relations, saying:

"'Israelis, through deed and public comment, have consistently spoken of a desire to live in peace and make territorial compromise to achieve this status. The Palestinian side has consistently resorted to acts of terror as a national expression and elected parties endorsing the use of terror, the rejection of territorial compromise and of Israel's right to exist. Palestinian leaders have had chances since 1947 to have their own state, including during your own presidency when they snubbed your efforts.'"
