I'm going to court for ripping ebay customers off - about 8 for a total of £3000. I have no convictions but was charged with meal fraud 18 months ago. I told the police all of the truth and was 17 when I commited these offences and am now 18. I've changed and now respect the law and am going to study law and criminology and university in September. I'm in Scotland - what punishment do you think I will get? Any advice? Thanks

Here is the situation. Husband got a 3rd shift job at a Mobil on the run. which is ok because the pay is good and he doesnt mind the shift. the problem is. he works by himself and doesnt get a half hour break so he can sit or eat or something he does get to go out for a smoke if there isnt anyone in the store but cant go to the bathroom because he is alone. he isnt allowed to sit either there is always something to do they tell him. now after 4 hours i thought u had to have a break? and then last night he was off work not scheduled and went out to play pool and got a voicemail saying he had to come in he didnt check his messages till 11pm when he was heading home got the message called they told him he HAD to come in so he was 20 minutes late coming in and he got spoken to in the morning by the manager for being 20 min late. is this legal? she told him he has to come in on his days off when they call him even if they leave the message on voicemail.

Democracy in action?

The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to
purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use
it.

The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC,
the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery
driver. A non working Mum who used the car to take the kids to school paid
£86 in one month. On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be
tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. They will also know
how fast you have been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a
speed limit in time you can probably expect a Notice of Intended
Prosecution with your monthly bill.

If you care about our freedom and stopping the constant bashing of the car
driver, please sign the petition on No 10's new website (link below) and
pass this on to as many people as possible.

I am 18 years old and currently living in the UK. I'm going to University here for a few years but after this I would like to move to the USA, more specifically to New York City, to live and to work. I looked on the US Government Green Card website but people from the UK cannot apply for one...so how can I legally earn the right to live and work in the USA? What do I need to do?

Don't eat that, don't smoke this, don't say that. Tax the rich to feed the poor.

Christian Cons:
Don't watch that, don't read this, don't have sex with that person. Worship my Jesus or else. Tax poor to fatten the rich.

I know its really up to me but was wondering if anyone had any two cents about what to consider.

Currently I have 5 years active, and 2.5 years as a reservest, I am 25 and an E-6 (sitting in an E-7 slot, sew on in Oct 07). I am debating getting out completly this summer. I have a full time civilian federal service job and my reserve unit if closing, should I consdier the Guard, IMA, or just call it quits cause I only have about 8 years in total. Any words of wisdom or regert are welcomed, thanks.

Is this government's constant blind-eye to the illegal immigration problem part of a far-sinister plan ? Since the Mexicans believe that the Southwestern part of the U.S. was once part of Mexico, is the U.S. government conceding to such a belief, and allowing soo many Mexicans to come across our border? Of course, the popular belief that Mexicans work for cheaper wages must weigh into things. I call it the "Mexicanization" of America. The powers that be are trying to "Mexicanize" our beloved America. The poverty of that country is deep, and because of this, the education level of Mexicans is severely sub-par. With thousands a month coming here illegally, i believe it is causing a huge "dumbing down" ripple effect.

Where is Bush going with this? Will the illegal aliens ever be stopped in their tracks? It is really beyond ridiculous!
