Been researching this man's life. He led a suicidal attack against German guns leading to the breakout at El Alamein. Was KIA about D-Day +14 in France. Anyone have further insights? Is he remembered in Britain?

Here's mine...we are going greatly reduce our troop levels in time. The weak Iraqi government that we installed will rob the treasury of the US supplied money and head for exile.

Now we're are heading for a Beirut style collapse when we pull out. Iran will dump guns, money, intelligence, and most importantly propaganda on the side of the Shiites. The Saudis will counter with money and ect. of their own for the Sunnis. Turkey is sitting quietly waiting for the Americans to pullout to ethnically cleanse the North Portion of Iraq of the Kurds to prevent them from getting gun money from their newly obtained oil fields.

It will be Beirut style civil war all over again, but worse because there's more oil money on the table and the stakes are higher than Lebannon. It'll be payback after payback. Am I far off. But this doesn't look good for me.

I am moving forward on my decision to join the Air Force. I was wondering what the process is exactly (i.e. see the recruiter, sign the paperwork, go for physical, ship out for basic.....) about how long before I actually hit boot camp from signing the paperwork?

The navy discharged me with a bleeding disorder in July, they told me that the VA would help me with this disorder. I filied my paper work with the VA in July, it is now Jan,07 and I just got a letter telling me that I am not going to get any help from them nor from the Navy because my disorder has to be cronic....I have not had a job since July, I have not seen a hemotalogist since July either, simply because I can't afford it. I bleed so much that I can't leave my house to even go to the store....I never got a second opinion to verify that I even have this bleeding disorder because it is not common for my race. I was discharged with no money and no help from the VA medical system. I need justice and I need it now!! If anyone out there knows how to sue these people or have info on how to seek justice please help me!!!!!! Thank you!

I support Sergeant Manhart for her decision and the us airforce needs to leave her alone! Please, everyone write to the us airforce commander and express the approval of what she did on her own time. I think it actually boosts moral for the us soldiers.

she could take some of her medicines with her or would the US customs will not allow it and think of it as an suspicious amount of capsules?

Well, it is not actually a medicine, she said it is her diet pills already
set up for her 2-month stay here, like around 150 capsules more or less. She said the capsules does not contain any chemicals but of herbal substance. Can she take it with her or she needs some prescription or whatever it is required?

Any ideas please? THAnks!

I don't get how they can pride themselves on freedom os speech when it is illgeal to say to holocaust didn't exist or to say it was a good thing. I mean, if someone doesn't believe that the mass killings of Jews happened, oh well. Who does that harm?

Tony Blair pledged to improve conditions for the Armed Forces as he told troops they must continue to fight wars to maintain Britain's influence in the world. Does that mean he is not going to moth ball half the Royal Naval Fleet? Does that mean he is going to upgrade the 30 plus year old carriers? Or is it more spin, to which Gordon will simply say no to? Its all a load of New Labour crap. Say one thing - do another! We've heard it all before.

Do you think the bagpipes have re-earned a place on the modern battlefield- along with full formal dress and cavalry squares?

I believe they all used to be used (maybe with the exception of squares) as psychological weapons on the battlefield. And, if they were re-instated with the military ground forces in places like Iraq, could they not actually work? It'd scare the hell out of me, and I bet a lot of the insurgents over there have never heard the sound of a full pies and drums band coming towards them...much scarier than a squad of camoflauged marines!

George W. Bush said he won't let public opinion sway his decisions. Public opinion determines who becomes leaders in our nation. Should we accept authority and not worry? If so how close is this to dictatorship?

Or do you just do it out of zeal for your party? 'Cause your allies in Al- Qaida get like a 100 virgins or something so I was wondering if you had a compensation scheme like that or not.

I am not asking you to divulge any Party secrets, just looking for some insight.
