The current active Army is not large enough and the Marine Corps is not large enough for the kinds of missions they're being asked to perform. And the Congress has a serious task ahead of it, to make sure that the Army and the Marine Corps get the funds they need to sustain themselves and to sustain their equipment and their ammunition. They don't want them dead and defeated. They want them brought home safely.

Can you name any American who considers themselves a liberal, who has ever said they want our troops to die, to be defeated, or to lose in Iraq?

First you have to understand the disease that is liberalism. To better understand liberalism, start smoking pot, have tons of gay sex, sneer at religous folk, believe in tolerance but have no tolerance for those with whom you disagree, be ignorant to the fact the leftists in power are using socialism as a form of government control, not to impove the well being of the lower class, be condescending, hypocritical, and believe in the vast right wing conspiriacy that some how is being perpetrated by the media that as a majority are registered Democrats.
