or I wouldnt be here.I have many friends who are different races, and Im many different races myself. The reason I am anti illegal is because they(illegals)dont respect my country, they cannot come to America as respectful people in my mind if they break the law to get here, and what really pushes my buttons if you will, is when they demand respect, when they dont show any, they turn my flag, our countrys flag upside down after we Americans have givin them every possible means of having a life, they might do jobs here Americans cant do,becouse our government pays there way to do so,if I could work for $6 an hour and have no bills, yea, would be great, but I work for $6 an hour and still have no medical or free housing. To be American means you stand up for this country and pay your way,it doesnt mean a free ride.If Americans dont stand up for this country it will be another Mexico,or third world country, illegals cant keep using us ,they need to become legall and fight for freedomnot just expect it

Well said. A few people mentioned the fact that the immigration system only caters to the people who have money. Well, I have this to say: If the illegal immigrant can pay thousands of dollars to the Coyote to sneak them over the border, they can certainly pay the fees to attempt to come here legally.

So, you think it's easy to become a citizen? That people shouldn't come across the border without permission? Interesting. Considering the fact that we allow people from Honduras, Panama, and Cuba to come in without applying for citizenship means that we will reject those people from Mexico because they border us? The people fromMexico have bills as well. They have families, housing, food, transportation, medical, etc. . . plus they send some of their $$ to Mexico to help their extended family.

I see you said "come to America", so I'm guessing you are talking about the people from Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica, since Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, Peru, Honduras are all part of the Americas.

Look, the people from other countries usually do the jobs that the United States citizen doesn't want to do. They are here, for the most part, to make money to go back to their countries and have a business. The Immagrants that cause problems are in the minority, not the majority. Just remember, at one time a lot of countries wanted to come here, and not all were allowed, but the people still came, and applied for legalization after getting here.

B-Cool

Note to Professor:

I am not justifying anything. I have lived around the border and know the circumstances of people from Mexico coming over. Can you explain why we grant Residency to people from Honduras because they had a Hurricane 5 years ago, yet when the same thing happens to some of the other countries (like Mexico) we just say "tough"?

I've talked to Immigration lawyers and know that it's not just the $$, but the timeing and the limited number of applications they accept a year. So, when people come illegally to the USA (only an idiot would call the US "America" and ssay that someone from Mexico isn't an American), they work on yards, in factories, cleaning, and other jobs that I've seen "Real Americans" begging for money rather than take.

And as for my saying that it's the minorty of the immigrants that are bad and not the majority. to dispute that is to say that since the big cities of the United States of America have homeless people, all of us are homeless begging bums. You must have a great time stereotyping people who are different from you.

Note to Asker: As elsewhere posted, surely you meant you have *no* respect for pro-illegal opinions. Yes?

No, we reject illegals from Mexico because they are illegal. We do not excuse bad behavior by pointing out other bad behavior.

<< Look, the people from other countries usually do the jobs that the United States citizen doesn't want to do. >>

Can you name any job, any industry (in America) where this is true?

<< The Immagrants that cause problems are in the minority, not the majority. >>

Aside from being patently untrue, it is irresponsible to post this in a public forum.

<< Just remember, at one time a lot of countries wanted to come here, and not all were allowed, but the people still came, and applied for legalization after getting here. >>

Your point being what? That it excuses present-day behavior?

I kinda see where you are coming from-I am Mexican /American & where I live there are plenty of illegal immigrants here and I personally never had a problem with them, except when I am at the Ranch Markets (it caters more to the ethnic foods of Mexicans and we have alot or the stores here in AZ)and the people don't understand english..But most just want a better life so inorder to do that they need to make themselves legal, learn english and become citizens of this great country, and that is all I would ask from them..

Wow, you watch Fox News much? First of all, they would actually come here legally if it weren't for the red tape the immigration system has currently. It favors those who have enough money to process unnecessary fees just to fill out some lousy paperwork, while those with no money wind up looking for an alternative to coming in to this country. Secondly, if you don't like the way your life is currently, then use your brain for once and go back to school to earn a degree in a career field of your choice so you can find a job with a LIVING wage. You can change your life, but it's pathetic to blame your current place in life now on those who come here illegally. You think they actually plan on coming here just to ruin your quality of life because you'll get pissed off when you realize that your quality of life is lower than you like. That's your own damn fault, you have to be able to make the change. They come here for a better life for themselves and their families, you would also be doing the same if you went back to school to earn a degree and then have a job that pays a LIVING wage. So they aren't disrespecting anything at all. YOU'RE disrespecting yourself by NOT working to make things better for yourself and your family.

I think you meant to say you have NO respect! The biggest problem is the misdirection that the Media and the pro groups are using! Nationalism is something the Mexican Government does to an extreme! When we do even a little they start screaming "Racism"!
The other bogus spin job is that it is somehow an issue that comes from outside our country and not from within! If we stopped all of the enticements and benefits and cracked down on the Construction Contractors with laws that already exist, there would not be the opportunity for the Hispanics and other illegals to take advantage with!

The biggest problem I have with anti illegals is the way they broad brush illegal aliens. There 12-20 million illegal aliens. About 60 % are Mexican yet the words Mexican and illegal are used interchangeably. They don't all come from the same place, they don't all live in the same place. They don't all have the same jobs. They're not all the same! However it's seems that, to many anti's, it's easier to lump them all into the same bucket and try to demonize them. The most common way is to refer to illegal felons and other illegals in the same breath, suggesting that all illegal aliens are dangerous. They are not. This is a complex problem that requires more than simplistic solutions.

what race are you if i may ask?....Since you're referring to mexicans...illegal immigrants do come to this country for a better life...they have no intention of hurting you or ur family..like u said, they work for $6 an hr....but have u thought of the fact that they also pay taxes..and will never see that money when its time to due taxes...Being american shouldnt be a right, its a privilege...Having said that..i also think that there shud be better border patrol services..because it is a passageway for terrorists...Also, they are not disrespecting your country because we are all immigrants....a huge part of the US did belong to the mEXICO..

You are putting all Mexicans in the same category. I think that is wrong. I know alot of Mexicans who respect our country. If you make 4 dollars a day in Mexico and want to come to the US, but have to have $25,000.00 dollars in the bank, what are you going to do? Thats why alot of Mexicans come here illegaly. It would take years and years to make that much money, and by that time you would be 90 years old. It's not the Mexicans fault that their country is so corrupt. Quit judging a book by its cover please.

I know alot of Mexicans that go to the hospital and have to pay out of their pockets. I too pay for my own medical bills, but I'm not complaining cause I like to be independent. I'm also paying off my school on my own cause the government wouldn't help me. But it doesn't bother me cause it feels good to do things on your own, and not having to depend on the government. Like I said before you are putting all Mexicans in the same category. I never hear anyone on here complain about Russians. How our government pays for them to live here, have a new house, car, pays for their food, pays for their school, pays for their medical bills. Have you seen some of the places that Russians own, that the government bought for them?

What you are talking about are a few extremists. Probably the same people that have been treated horribly by white extremists. Dont take it personally. Most illegals just want to work and go home.
