It is embarrassing to hear Cindy Sheehan now that the DNC and George Soros (and his moveon) have abandoned her. She babbles and blathers incessently and cannot make a point.

Embarrassed isn't the word . Try sickened . Where was her support for her son when he was growing up ? She is tarnishing the memory of her son who died serving his country ; and using him for political reasons . Whenever I hear her name I can't help see that picture of her head leaning on Jesse Jackson all gooney-eyed ..as though being led to the slaughter and loving every minute .. How many times does she think she's entitled to have private meetings with the President . I don't see how she could pass security anywhere . She's unbalanced . A perfect spokes-mouth for the liberal cause .

The answer to your question is an obvious yes. It is obvious by the character assassination against Cindy Sheehan that they cannot answer her question. They divert the attention from the futility and immorality of the war to the personality of those asking the questions or to partisanship.
As for sway 26's answer, that is not only cold and insensitive, but dead wrong. I know people who personally know the Sheehan family and your factually baseless answer couldn't be farther from the truth. That answer is a new low, even for you.

It's not a question of embarrassment it is a question if you saw someone hollering and babbling on a street corner do you really pay any attention to them?
3000 mothers and fathers lost sons and the overwhelming majority are proud of their sacrifice and I my heart go to the families. This one loser is already over her 15 minute of fame it's all about her now.

I had a lot of respect for Cindy Sheehan at one point. She exercised her rights as a citizen in questioning her government's actions. She lost all my respect when she teamed up with Chavez, though. She lost a lot of credibility nation-wide as well.
Her questions, though are in keeping with the rights of all American citizens.

No one is asking you to conform. That's the beauty of America, you can verbally and peacefully oppose our leaders.
I'm not embarrassed at all about the questions she asks. I feel bad for her. She lost her pride and joy and is looking for answers. It is a coping mechanism for her.
And by the way, Congress voted on and approved the Iraq War. Also, we are not bound by any opinions that the UN has.about the way we protect our nation. So in other words, the war is not illegal. You should learn your facts before spouting out with such ignorance.

You're confused. Which, given the fact that you're a liberal is only natural. Conservatives aren't embarrassed by Sheehan's questions. We are amused by what a tool the left in America, along with the mainstream media(a redundancy I know.) has made her.
Frankly, I feel for her, like I would for anyone who lost a kid for any reason.

Because she doesn't "ask questions", she makes false accusations and now the democrats have turned their back on her since the elections are over. She is more of an embarrassment to the left with her radical style and hate. She is a perfect fit for the party of so called "tolerance and compassion"

I am not emarrassed by her questions, I am embarrassed for her and her Anti-American agenda! It really helps her cause when she protested in Cuba against the US, but would not do the same for the political prisoners held by Castro, when she was asked for help by people there. It sure helped her cause to protest America in Venzuela. Next stop......N. Korea. I would bar her Anti-American @ss from re-entry to the USA!
