Is the protection of the Israeli State from neighbouring agression the main cause for U.S. led regime change in Iraq & possible Iran?
Or is it a combination of ecominic stability (with regards to oil production) & Israel's protection?

We are always told that US embassies are American soil. This is why some people got so worked up about Hezbollah's alleged bombing of our embassy in Beirut that they are considered an enemy of the US. This is why we just killed some alleged al Qaeda terrorists in Somalia last week.

Last night, American soil was bombed by terrorists in Greece. I thought the Bush doctrine was to go after terrorists and the nations that harbor them. I thought he declared his God-given right to kill anyone, anywhere, at any time who used terrorism against the United States.

But I guess some terrorism is more equal than others. Or is the Bush doctrine just anti-Islamic bigotry in disguise, and Bush really only claims the right to kill any Muslim anytime and anywhere he wants?

Can anyone else smell the hypocrisy?

I'm just wondering, when they say on the news that this solider has been to Iraq for 4 tours of duty, now he's going back for his 5th. A lady said, yesterday where i work that someone in her family is going back for his 7th time. And some people haven't gone once yet.

Do they send back those who have been over there before, because they know what its like?

*just wondering...thanks*

The question: "Are you withhelding any information about your drug usage history?" In the beginning, I was doing okay until the second and third time they ask. The 2nd time, I remembered that I have done marijuana twice instead of once. For the 3rd time, I was too scared to do anything. After the test, I wrote an admission about the picked up deception.

Ok, women have the right to terminate a pregnancy; they have the right to have the child adopted; they have the right to leave the baby at a "safe haven" location and walk away, no questions asked. Shouldn't men have the right to legally deny parenthood as women have to physically deny it?

Google doesn't seem to be helping. I'm researching gun laws for where I live, but can't seem to find an official source of current laws. I don't have much experience looking up laws online.

I'm 15 I've lived all my life on this road. There are houses all along either side of it, there is also an elementry school, and a church. and many subdivisoins on off roads. Many children walk home along this road. And many pets are killed, Including the dog I called my own for 10 long loving years. And I kept her in a fence. The speed limit is unfortanly 55mph. But the normal speed that people seem to go is around 70-75-80mph. Am I wrong to think this is unfair? In my 15 years of living here I've never seen amyone pulled over. I don't know why but 18wheelers and dump trucks use it as a short cut and fly past my house. We don't live out in the country or anything... I don't understand and my anger grows everyday. I see children walking home along the eadge of the road and I have to turn away for fear of seeing them get hit. I want to do something about it. People always say "Stand up for what you belive in." Well I am. But I don't know how to go about doing it. I need advise. Please.

Just curious. Everyone on here seems to not have the ability to judge people as people, but rather by their political affiliation. I am a democrat, but I thought Reagan was a very good president. While I did not agree with everything he did, he did bring down the Berlin Wall. (and he didn't even have to kill anyone, it's called diplomacy). Has anyone else on here ever given credit to anyone from the opposing party?

Do you have to meet APFT requirements upon entering the army or at the end of basic training? Also, does everyone have to meet the same requirements (if you're doing a desk job, do you have to be able to do the same as someone in combat)?
