We are always told that US embassies are American soil. This is why some people got so worked up about Hezbollah's alleged bombing of our embassy in Beirut that they are considered an enemy of the US. This is why we just killed some alleged al Qaeda terrorists in Somalia last week.
Last night, American soil was bombed by terrorists in Greece. I thought the Bush doctrine was to go after terrorists and the nations that harbor them. I thought he declared his God-given right to kill anyone, anywhere, at any time who used terrorism against the United States.
But I guess some terrorism is more equal than others. Or is the Bush doctrine just anti-Islamic bigotry in disguise, and Bush really only claims the right to kill any Muslim anytime and anywhere he wants?
Can anyone else smell the hypocrisy?

ret_roch - since when do we send the FBI after terrorists??? Bush said terrorism is not a crime but an act of war. Bush said we need a bigger military to fight the war on terror, not a bigger FBI.
So why is Bush letting terrorists get away with bombing America?

brickity - no threat? they fired an anti-tank missile over the wall of a building set back 65 feet from the street. A bit more concerning than box cutters, wouldn't you agree?

I've found the lack of coverage on U.S. and British international news amazing... I've only heard it on the Argentinian news.. but I'm in Argentina so maybe it's being reported on the news within the U.S. and I don't know about it.
gephardt bush has talked about killing terrorists on multiple occasions. not just fighting, not just capturing, he says we are killing terrorists.
ynotgayle, it would make more sense than invading Iraq in response to 9/11. At least we'd be in the same country as the attackers.

Your hate keeps you from seeing any light. Bush may fail to act but like you said this happened last night. There still has been no official determination who committed the act. They believe they know who it is but should they first be sure before attacking. Even if they knew for certain who did it the action against someone should be thought out a little before rushing in (god knows the libs have said this about Iraq a few times).
What I see from your post is an angry person without the ability to take emotions out and use reason.

Bush is so embarrassing. He holds palms with the King of Saudi Arabia, who funded and supported Al Qaeda till they bombed Saudi pastimes, Bush depended on Musharraf who takes our billion$ and shields Al Qaeda and the Taliban till they bomb Pakistan pastimes, and there remains no reason to have confidence him to iradicate Al Qaeda. 6 months in the past I stated we ought to bypass into NW Pakistan to injury Al Qaeda and cons at right here stated i replaced right into a loopy liberal who'd betray our good chum Musharraf. Now, Al Qaeda and the Taliban purely approximately killed Bhutto, they are attacking targets in Islamabad, they are taking on cities and cities in western Pakistan, and Musharraf has 80% of Pakistan's protection stress components sitting on the jap border watching India. Musharraf has a standing military of a million adult males. he's no longer doing the final he can. Cons are cowards immobilized with tips from worry.

So, we were bombed last night and you're complaining that Bush hasn't gathered all the facts, done an investigation, narrowed down the list and isolated a certain group before attacking?
Darn, you sound like a war monger.

That attack in Greece was akin to the "Sea of David" loonies who operated out of a Karate school in Florida. I think it's obvious they pose no real threat.
Edit; One missile, that injured no one and caused minimal damage. Orgainization and intelligence are what makes an enemy a major threat. I don't think they had either, they were just lashing out in the same manner that someone bashing in a McDonalds window would.

It is a Greek problem by Greek terrorists and if the Greeks need assistance they can ask. Yes the act was committed on American soil in Greece but let the host country handle it first. If they need assistance from the U.S. they will ask.

How do you know we're not???? My God, are you equipped to run the country? You seem to think you have all the answers, we should do this, or we should have done that, what the hell would you do? It doesn't matter what President Bush does, it will be too much or too little in the eyes of a liberal!

Can you provide a link to a credible source that cites that the United States is indeed "doing nothing"- as in no repsonse of any kind whatsoever?
Or, do you entertain yourself by making up biased fantasy questions?
Somehow, the latter seems more likely.
Edit: are they bombing Greece the way they bombed Somalia?
Is bombing the only response that will register on your "doing something" radar? Therefore, if we were executing undercover, spec-ops missions to capture the culprits, and you weren't briefed by the Oval Office, then you consider it doing nothing? And, keep in mind, this happend ~24 hours ago? And you want them caught already?
Your obsessive bias is disturbing.
