for things like having too many kids, for packing homes with 10 to 15 members, for disposing of toilet paper in cans (or the floor) instead of flushing it, for not speaking 'American' or for simply looking tacky.....

do you take the time to verify their legal status beforehand, in order to call them "illegals"? I mean, are you 100% they're illegal? Or do you just assume they are?

Failing to do so makes you racism practitioners, which in many cases leads to hate crimes. And crime is illegal.

I have heard enough to be certain now that Bush is prepared to attack other Countries in the Middle East in pursuit of any justification for the invasion of Iraq in 2003.
WMD's were the obvious justification at the beginning, but no justification has been found as of yet that matches the cost of this war for America, the American people, or for the Iraqi people. The death of one tyrant is not enough reason to kill hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and 3000+ American Military Troops .
I see a picture on the front cover of the San Francisco Chronicle of Bush crying as he awards the Medal of Honor to Marine Corporal Jason Dunham who died in combat in the year 2004. "He jumped on a grenade to protect his men." Jason was 22 years old when he died.
Let me know why I am reading the leaves of the future incorrectly if you see it happening in a different way. Chickhawks and Neo-Cons aside, even if they are two of the same thing.

It's not its all political. If republicans even knew anything at all about muslims then they would know that their actions shia against sunni are not islamic at all and it is all a reaction to something.
Suicide bombing isnt a hobby.
Its a REACTION!!\

My 14 year-old son (high school freshman) has been hassled for a few weeks by an older kid (16) at school. Yesterday the kid confronted my son in the hallway and shoved him and threatened him and challenged him (again) to fight. My son refused and walked away. He went to the vice-principal and informed him, telling him he did not want to fight but didn't think this kid was going to stop. Both kids were counseled and advised that there would be consequences if either of them initiated any further conflict, verbal or physical.

After school, this kid and about 20 others from his "group" followed my son off school property and surrounded him. The kid confronted my son again, and then began hitting him. My son fought back until he could escape. Both have minor bruises and neither required medical attention. A teacher spotted the large group (50 or so, they say) and called the police. My son had left the scene before the teacher or police got there, but a police officer found him. My son panicked (he's never been in trouble with the police) and gave a false name when asked. The officer didn't fall for it, and my son gave the correct name. The officer transported him back to the school where they were sorting things out and threatened him with charges of obstructing justice and so forth for lying. My son apologized almost immediately and did not give the officer a hard time in any other way.

All of the details provided here were substantiated or deemed accurate by school personnel. This is NOT just "my son's version" of the story.

Since it happened off school property, the police will be handling the case. The superintendant has suggested that we press charges against this other kid. I have so many questions now.

1. How do I press charges and what charges would I ask for? How do I decide whether to file?
2. What kind of trouble is my son likely to be in for lying to the officer about his name?
3. Do we need to get a lawyer for either half of this situation?

Thanks for your input.

What happens if I don't give consent for the police to search my car at a regular traffic stop (speeding, blowing a stop sign, etc...)? In the past (& when I was younger), I've been arrested for possession of marijuana because either I admitted to having it in my car or let them search because I figured they'd just get a K-9 anyway. Now that I no longer smoke & no longer have anything illegal in my car, next time I'm asked I will NOT consent to a search. Will this piss the police off? Will they end up giving me a ticket whereas if I had cooperated, I might have only ended up with a warning? I don't plan on being rude, I just won't consent to a search of my vehicle & since there will be nothing illegal, I don't care if they get a K-9. (Hopefully I won't get pulled over, but, I was just wondering, what if...)

There hasnt been an attack on the US. We are fighting them over there to make sure they dont attack us here. It is Clintons fault. I bet if you ask any question about Iraq you will see one of those lame *** talking points.

Im in an on going case that involves a gun. The D.A. says that the gun has at least 7 murders on it and it is stolen. At first I was supposed to receive around a year for possession plus the fact that I have been a registered gang member for a few years and the gang injunction is very strict in Ventura County. But now they are saying that the gun has “heads” on it and they want to give me way worse sentances. Im only 17… is there anyway that I can get out of those charges? O and im being tried as and adult due to the fact of prior weapon charges and the severity of the crime… I am not incarcerated at the moment.

Each of those dictators used propoganda and political rhetoric to control the ideas of its population so as their acts and intentions - now considered to be evil - were accepted by the people. How can we be sure, considering the many overt and covert military operations and the almost tyrannical like power of coorporations, that we again havn't been fooled by clever rhetoric? Psychology has examined extremely thoroughly how this can happen - how the German population allowed the Nazi's to come to power and do the horrible things they did- and i think if you look closely you could argue the same tactics are being used today only this time the mistakes of the past (that is that led to their ultimate failure) are not being made to day. And this time their is no legitimate state entity with enough power or interest to step in as the allies did in WW2. Some may go of course not but ask yourself would a German citisen have thought they were part of an evil campaign?

Just wanted to find out if this was really true or not - you know you have to check behind everything a recruiter tells you.

Moving along, I was considering the 6 year option due to the extra education benefits.

Just want to make sure I know my options in case I end up hating my job (2A5X3). I know certain things go without saying like you'd need approval and a slot in the career field you want would have to be open. I'm just making sure it's possible.

Also, if you happen to be able to provide any details on the job itself like the environment, people, hated it, loved it etc, feel free to do so.
