Partly... I think you've 'hit the nail right on it's head'! I sense though, that he has a very strong motivation and desire to show-up his Dad, & to prove to his Dad that he's as good as, or better than him.
He's imploring the positive recogination of his father! I believe that he's probably more highly motivated by the undiliated desire for love, acceptance, admiration, and respect of his peers than for greed. (How much $ is too much!)
I was very curious, and this assesment of the President was reinforced, when I saw the news clip of Bush #41, breaking down into tears while giving an introduction at an event for his son, Jeb. I believe it reveiled an introspective view of Mr Bush #41 that he's attempted to disguise, but at that time was emotionally overwhelmed with the emotion that Jeb, was 'the good son'. Not, Niel whom we've not seen, nor heard of since at least 2 years before the 1 campaign (Gore vs Bush), or, Mr Bush #43. I sense that Mr Bush #41 is highly upset, and axnious towards his son, whom is driving this Country to Hell,in a hand basket!
There's also other introverted signals from Mr Bush #41 in the way that he allies himself with his 'ole guard', like Sect. Baker, in opposition, but not overtly, to hs son #41.
Everything this President has done, since he's obtained office is to drive-up the $ of oil to what it is today. But, I believe that too was to gain favor with his 'Buds', and to pay back Saudi individuals whom supported him when he was a: 'Down, & Outer'.
The Iraq military opperation was percieved by the early members of this Admin. as a 'get rich quick scheme'
Instead of surrounding himself with experts in the fields of Human Sciences, he surrounded himself with idiots, & a demented evanjelical shister, of whom he claims gave him spirtual insite, as well as a religious excuse. The cult, of which he's a member, prays for: 'The 2nd Comming in Our Lifetime...' Their elated with the military unrest in the Middle East. Were ex-static when Israel was attacked this past summer, and totally emersed in the Theology, of the Bible. Quite insane!
Bush #43 claimed his final decision, to invade Iraq was based upon a communication he had with his, "Father". Not his biological father. But the 1 up above! This suggests that he ment to defy his natural father, he's dilusional, parnoid, certifiable, not fit for office, and has absolutely no respect for the most important American Principal of Government we have, which is: 'The absolute seperation of church & State'.
He duped the 'silent majority' into believing his actions are based upon 'higher principals' when in fact their based upon: GREED!
He also, riles the religious dementos of the Middle East by constantly refering to a, "God" and his 'Christianity'. They percieve that as a challange, and affront to their theological fantasys. So, continue their attacks which in turn greases the military machine and the war profits just keep on rollin' in as long as people are willing to take him at his word!

he's not answerable for the meltdown, yet he and congress would properly be held in charge for his or her state of being inactive over the final 5 years. The wall highway meltdown started in 1999 while Clinton deregulated financial establishments (which Biden voted for), exchange into not the Republicans as Obama and Biden could have you ever have faith right this moment however the democrats that created the ecosystem for the greed and corruption we are seeing right this moment. The bailout exchange into not needed simply by fact the Fed and Treasury has the authority and powers to step in and take over any company it is risky, as they have achieved presently. the only ones this could help are the fat cats on wall highway, even even though it did not something to restoration the underlying issue that brought about it int he first place.

You're right. As a show of generosity we should surrender in Iraq and Afghanistan, and promise the world that we'll never wage a conflict anywhere ever again (even if attacked like on 9/11.) We should end all military spending, and quit defending our country and our allies.
The terrorists in this world (who are simply misunderstood because of Bush) will be so impressed with our good intentions, that they'll give up their arms and we'll all live in peace and harmony.
I only have one question: is "DUH" an actual word?

Just because you disagree with someone it doesn't make them evil. Bush doesn't need money, greed is not a motivation. He is doing what he thinks is right, you may agree or disagree with his choices but he is our president and I believe we should support whoever is controlling our country. In the next election, no matter who wins, I will support them also. Peace.

I believe it is. He keeps asking for more and more money to fund the war. Now he wants more troops and money to do everything he was supposed to be doing for the past four years.
I believe it's time Congress called for an independent council to figure out where the billions of dollars went the first two times. And that includes a paper trail to Bush's and his cronies' bank accounts.

not really.
truly greedy people want to be wealthy today AND tomorrow..
the best way to insure this is with a healthy and robust middle class, which will fuel the rest of the economy.
people who fight for tax breaks, and ship jobs overseas are just not thinking long term.
