Im in an on going case that involves a gun. The D.A. says that the gun has at least 7 murders on it and it is stolen. At first I was supposed to receive around a year for possession plus the fact that I have been a registered gang member for a few years and the gang injunction is very strict in Ventura County. But now they are saying that the gun has “heads” on it and they want to give me way worse sentances. Im only 17… is there anyway that I can get out of those charges? O and im being tried as and adult due to the fact of prior weapon charges and the severity of the crime… I am not incarcerated at the moment.

"get out of charges" in what way?
If you are a known gang member in posession of a stolen weapon associated with multiple murders, and you have a previous posession conviction - you are in serious **** young one.
There is always the risk that they can tag you with the crimes associated with the weapon, but there would have to be additional evidence other than you happen to have the gun. BUT posessing a gun that is linked to other crimes and a gang registration shows that you are associating with known criminals and are showing a pattern of behavior - which will not look good for sentencing.
You probably don't want my sympathy, but you have it - not because I condone what you did (do the crime - do the time) but because you're a kid and you have an entire life ahead of you that could be used for something good and now you are going to spend a portion of it behind bars.
God speed - and best of luck - but I seriously hope that someone comes into your life and shows you that the path you are on is only going to lead to being toes up in a very deep hole.

What can I tell you? You're a gang member with prior charges (convictions?). They think that you killed 7 people. Your attorney (you have an attorney, don't you?) will do all he/she can, but be reasonable, you are the reason that you're in this mess. Gang. Stolen gun. MURDER?
You have good spelling and grammar, you're not dumb, why did you get involved with guns and gangs?

You're screwed. Even with a good lawyer, you stand a pretty good chance of winding up in prison. And I have a sneaking suspicion that prison is exactly where you belong. I have ZERO sympathies for gang members, especially those who use guns to commit crimes - which you admitted to in your question.

Here's a tip for the future - if you drop the soap in the shower, don't bend over to pick it up.

dude you have to get a very good lawyer you have a strong case against you and since it is gang related even if you are 17 it is hard for you to get out of this see if they offer you plea bargain you turn in the other gang members for a lesser sentence that is the only way out

You need a GOOD defense attorney, not the random opinions of people who range from 8 to 80 with no legal training, knowledge, or experience. My only suggestion is to listen carefully to your attorney. S/he may be all that's between you and a couple of decades in a state prison.

Sounds like when they get done with you, you will be exactly where you belong. In an adult prison. Let me know who your new butt f*u*c*k buddie is.
