Wholeheartedly. I support our troops, their sacrifices, and the sacrifice their families make as well. I don't agree with why they are there, but I have always supported them and their families, and pray for their safe return home.

What I am tired of (and I am NOT accusing the questioner of this- I'm speaking generally) is people telling me I am un-American because I feel this way (supporting the troops but not the war).

Yes I do appreciate the sacrifices. I have been in the military for a year now. I know someday I may have to make sacrifices too.

yes i truely do, every single troop has made some sort of a sacrifice while we sit around and do our daily routines and complain about the war...it makes me sick when some people dis the troops that make them able to sit around all day and watch their favorite tv shows and drink their starbucks, not once thinking about the people that make it possible..you dont have to support the war in order to support the troops' efforts, and i dont think a lot of people relize that

You guess I do. even if i did not have relatives who've been there or are going, i might want to have compassion for them..As most of the cons have suggested, they volunteered. Yeah, they volunteered for the service, although not this particular unlawful warfare they understand heavily isn't received. .maximum supported warfare in Afghanistan because there they were preserving their u . s . a . from further terrorist attack. yet they & the human beings have wised as a lot because the lies they were informed. Enlistments, extraordinarily reenlistments, are way down, no count number number what the WH & DOD say. i'm particular they did not volunteer for numerous deployments, a number of them for the 4th time. i'm particular the nationwide Guardsmen did not volunteer for numerous deployments, lack of businesses or jobs, hardships for his or her households.they are getting the shaft with information from the rooster hawks who dodged strive against & the service at the same time as they were youthful yet use those childrens as cannon fodder w/o ideal kit. And the con supporters of Bushco are jeering at Prince Harry, who insisted on optimum his unit in Iraq. damn precise i'm p.i.ssed. yet not at our troops. And few human beings so called libtards & moderates sense any in a unique way then I do.

Yes, considering we have not had to sacrifice even one small part of our daily lives. But speaking as a veteran, they don't see it as a sacrifice, they see it as doing their job. Just a difference in how people see the world.

I do....they are brave, strong people who have given up a lot just to serve us. They volunteered a large portion of their life to serve us....it's not like they were drafted....so yes we should be thankful for that descision.
