for things like having too many kids, for packing homes with 10 to 15 members, for disposing of toilet paper in cans (or the floor) instead of flushing it, for not speaking 'American' or for simply looking tacky.....

do you take the time to verify their legal status beforehand, in order to call them "illegals"? I mean, are you 100% they're illegal? Or do you just assume they are?

Failing to do so makes you racism practitioners, which in many cases leads to hate crimes. And crime is illegal.

NOTE: I am NO PRO ILLEGAL, in fact, I despise lazybones who take the 'easy' way out. I'm fully aware of the immigration issue and I support enforcement.

What I cannot stand is brainless racists who hide their bigotry behind the "Legal" card.

Since when is HEARSAY a valid proof?

My point here is: I don't deny MANY illegals behave like that, but BEFORE calling the authorities to get them outta here, why not check their legal status?

Who are you directing this question to? All people who "bash illegal-alien looking (which is a weird way to characterize a group of people by the way) people?"

I'll say this...I live in Texas, and there are a lot of illegal aliens in my state. Most of these people are coming to the U.S. to make a better life for themselves and their children and are very nice, god-fearing, hard working people. Unfortunately there are also some of the "criminal element" who come here and give a bad impression of their people. I know judging an entire race on the actions of a few is a horrible problem (stereotyping), but people still do it all the time.

I don't know what the answer is, but I do wish we had a better system, designed to at least know who is here, so we could ensure no potential terrorists or criminals are coming across the border.

The thing is though, I wouldn't want to kick out the illegals who are abiding by the laws of this country (other than being here illegally obviously) because I know if I were in their shoes (living in Mexico where there is little hope for prosperity) I would do the same thing. I guess that's why I kind of like the amnesty idea proposed by the President.

I agree. And without Biometric passports, a true identification of those who are on American soil illegally is near impossible. I don't have to meet each and every illegal or non American to verify their status. I am certainly permitted to have an opinion about a group based on their legal status. To call me a racist, which does not technically apply here, is foolish. My opinion is based on the legal status of a group or individual, not their nationality. Non issue and attempting to cloud the situation further.

First of all, if having too many kids makes me an illegal, then f*cking deport me.

Your obviously talking about stereo typing people based on their physical appearence, financial status, or living conditions. In which case, I suppose I am considered a "hobo".
Yes, it's true people in general are stereo typical and prejudgemental. But, I'm affraid that you cannot change that, nor will it ever go away.

I dont think that stereo typing someone, or a group of people is illegal, but it is certainly unfair. But like I said, everyone does it to some extent.

I cant stand alot of legal and illegals. But at least we can have some sort of mass population control by getting rid of the illegals. The problem is much bigger than illegal immigration though. They have a "TAKE OVER" mentality that needs to be addressed ASAP by other red blooded Americans.

I do not bash them, and two thumbs up for asking. Now you will be called names and accused of either being illegal or married to one. And for the record I know a lot of Mexicans and not one has more than 3 kids or has 15 people living in the home. I believe it is based on assumptions, stereotyping and generalizations, not facts.

Are we to assume that YOU verify the immigration status of everyone?
How noble of you.

I for one know when someones illegal or not because I ask, and if they are , they proudly show their cards, which arent really green !! I had illegal mexican neighbors that tied up a goat and left it in the hot sun all day long and fully intended to make it suffer until they killed it that night ! They abused americans in speech and action. Especially the white ones,,and hate blacks too ! One tried to rape me and his nephew was trying to help him until my son who was only 11 came and caught them, they HELP each other rape women !! Dont be nieve they hate america and its values, and if you cant see that by their marching across our country with american flags, then perhaps you will experience the foreign illegal invasion yourself and come to your senses. I am 100% sure when they arent , I cant speak for others. Also, when they are legal, generally they appreciate the American flag, not mexicos any longer because they have then taken an oath toward our country.

you just listed every way these criminals take advantage of our system , a system they haven't put into or deserve to participate in. they have dozens of babies so they have an excuse to stay, anchor babies as their called, they live 10 to a house to get out of paying taxes and to avoid scrutiny, and they refuse to even BOTHER to learn English but instead want YOU to get a translator or learn Spanish. anit that a sob. and yes lots of them not all though live like animals, nasty houses where they have piles and pile of beer cans and bottles that they let pile up and attract roaches and everything else, carpet caked with mud and dirt. you want to know how i can say this isn't a stereotype? because i lived in a 90% Mexican complex and i saw their houses when they moved and when they lived in it and when they moved out, and even the management admits they knew they were illegal. all of them, because they know they re going to pay rent and in cash so it was okay with them. and also alls u have to do is ask, they have no problem telling u the truth, they are not ashamed of their status and ability to get over

I call filth filth.Regardless of race color or creed. There are lots of "white" people who behave like filth. Being racist does not lead to hate crimes, any more than because I don't like rats leads me to shoot everyone i see. I'm a racist and I've never commited a "hate crime". Everyone is racist to some extent. I judge people on apperance, and the color of their skin makes an impact on what I think. righ or wring this is the US, and it's my right to think and feel and say what I want. And if I don't like you because you are white, black, asian, arabian, indian, puertorican, mexican or what ever.. it's my right. Deal with it.
