The electric bill is in my name. Before we moved in we verbally agreed we would go halfs on all the shared utilities. He doesn't deny that. The roommate paid his half of the very first electric bill but refused to pay the next two bills and claims he is not going to pay half of any future electric bills. I've told him many times that I expect him to pay half of the electricity if he is going to use it. He still uses electricity and still refuses pay and refuses to sign a contract. Do I have any legal footing to take him to court? Thanks for any and all help.

Quayle gets my vote.

Here are a few of his quotes:

"I have made good judgments in the Past. I have made good judgments in the Future."

"Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child."

"The future will be better tomorrow."

"We don't want to go back to tomorrow, we want to go forward."

"We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a *part* of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a *part* of Europe."

"We're all capable of mistakes, but I do not care to enlighten you on the mistakes we may or may not have made."

"What a waste it is to lose one's mind. Or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is."

"[It's] time for the human race to enter the solar system."

"Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things."

"Illegitimacy is something we should talk about in terms of not having it."

"I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy - but that could change."

I cannot get an accurate link on Yahoo for some reason. I saw a few links that USA Today reported his approval rating is now in the 20% range and hitting an all-time low.

This article seems to point to the creation of a North American Super State. Does anyone else know about this? Is anyone else outraged about this? Why has this not been in the news?

I am seventeen years old, and currently a junior in highschool. I was recently made aware of the fact that I am lacking in college funds, and I cannot seem to find a good scholarship at all. The concept of military service as a means to pay for college was also recently brought to my attention, and if no scholarships present themselves in the near future I may be joining the National Guard. At this point I am set on doing whatever it takes to get into college, but the idea of taking out student loans sickens me (please note that getting into college is not a concern, only tuition). At this point I no longer have any reservations about the military. I would be signing under the "college first" plan, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with that program, as well as any advice on a good career option for an aspiring linguistics major (i.e. translator). also, how difficult should someone who has never shot a firearm expect the rifle qualifying test to be?
