Do you mean the attempt on Bush Sr. by Saddam or the unexploded grenade attempt on dubya?
From reading some of the posts on this thread, it seems that it's true that a lot of people forget about events after 3 weeks. I've posted some backup reading for their benefit.
Addendum: Don't worry about the FBI. They haven't gotten anything right since shooting John Dillinger.

The same thing that went wrong with the Teddy Kennedy and Charles Schumer and Nancy Pelosi assasination attempts. They never happened. Crying shame, though. The world would be so much better off without those last three people......

your mistaken and confused Bob, I read news everyday, there is no such attempt, and I hope never happen. but you might confused of assasination attempt on Bush Sr. in Kuwait by Iraqi intelligent agents in 1990s, where Clinton after that retaliated by missiles on Iraqi Intelligent HQs, they just discovered the plot I think before it goes off.
