Quayle gets my vote.

Here are a few of his quotes:

"I have made good judgments in the Past. I have made good judgments in the Future."

"Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child."

"The future will be better tomorrow."

"We don't want to go back to tomorrow, we want to go forward."

"We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a *part* of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a *part* of Europe."

"We're all capable of mistakes, but I do not care to enlighten you on the mistakes we may or may not have made."

"What a waste it is to lose one's mind. Or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is."

"[It's] time for the human race to enter the solar system."

"Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things."

"Illegitimacy is something we should talk about in terms of not having it."

"I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy - but that could change."

Here are a few more:

"Mars is essentially in the same orbit... Mars is somewhat the same distance from the Sun, which is very important. We have seen pictures where there are canals, we believe, and water. If there is water, that means there is oxygen. If oxygen, that means we can breathe."

"The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century."

"Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children."

"We're going to have the best-educated American people in the world."

"We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur."

"For NASA, space is still a high priority."

"I stand by all the misstatements that I've made."

Quayle wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, I agree.

But for the life of me, I can not figure out why nobody called Al Gore on his 3 HUGE public mishaps.

College educated...does not recognize Ben Franklin while doing live interview on CNN during Clinton's first run. They teach this to 3rd graders. OH...and his picture is on our money...Guess he uses credit cards.

College educated... does not realize, that ice displaces the same volume in a glass as it will use when melted. They teach this to 4th graders...But is sounds better if you omit this fact when you speak of global warming.

College Educated...assisted in blocking the only source of low sulfur coal in the US. (Environmental reasons) Now we have to buy it from China. Good move, since China is not restricted in it's fuel sources, it can use our high sulfur coal and diesel to extract the low sulfur coal to sell to the US, to protect the earths atmosphere.

If you are basing your pick on quotes alone then maybe but I think actions speak louder than words and Spiro Agnew resigning before nixon was retaded as anyone with half a brain knew nixon was out and the VP was in ,so anybody that gives up a free ride into the OVAL office is pretty stupid
