I think government spending will be the biggest issue in 2008, and the Democrats will champion it by saying that they are putting the majority of funding back into domestic social programs. Personally, I would like to see the Department of Labor get more money. Of course, the war in Iraq will be brought up as a part of this debate, but the majority of talk about the war will not be about its viability, the dying troops, or reasons for starting the war; it will just be about the cost.

the biggest element this election would be sure is wether u.s. takes a brilliant step twords becomming a socialist republic, or wether that is going to flow greater twords freedom and doing what it takes to maintain our independance. A vote for hillary or obama, is a vote twords turning our us of a over to the governing philosophy of socialism. the place the government is on top of problems with each and every thing and u.s. is taxed to dying. yet there's a difficulty on the different area, there is not any candidate in a pacesetter place on the republican area that seems to be what conservitave christians are searching for, a minimum of no longer yet. If that individual is chanced on, and voted for, the difficulty would be preserving carry of conservative values. The democrats wanna boost taxes, eliminate your weapons, shop abortion criminal, and change all administration of the country and that is sovernity to the UN, make gay marriage criminal, and make sure that amreicas economic gadget is destroyed via making it unlawful topersistent, fly our use the internet or consume meat as they attempt to stay away from a international warming ajenda this is faux and foney. and allow unlawful immagration. The Republicans on the christian precise, wanna decrease your taxes, close the boarder, outlaw abortion, outlaw gay marriage, give up unlawful immigration, win the war, boost our millitary, ballance the funds, and guard our 2nd ammendment rights to possess weapons. that's what's at stake in this election.

I infinitely agree with the first response. Hopefully the War in Iraq will be a memory or in its less vulnerable stages. The pro-business factions of both parties replaced. And a President with FDR/JFK thought processes elected.

The biggest issue in '08 will be governmental corruption and the growing police-state. We the People cannot stand another minute of this pretender-King destroying our country, and we MUST get rid of all politicians like him. We need candidates that truly care about the American people, not the corporate lobbyists that line their pockets in backroom deals. Both the left and the right have far more than their fair share of corrupt greedy scum. Time for some chlorine in the political pool, eh? ;P
