just wondering what issues are the most important to people, immigration, taxes, education, the war in iraq, the war on terror, health care, etc for the upcoming presidential election.

I understand that there will most likely be more than one.. so feel free to elaborate

I think government spending will be the biggest issue in 2008, and the Democrats will champion it by saying that they are putting the majority of funding back into domestic social programs. Personally, I would like to see the Department of Labor get more money. Of course, the war in Iraq will be brought up as a part of this debate, but the majority of talk about the war will not be about its viability, the dying troops, or reasons for starting the war; it will just be about the cost.

The biggest issue in '08 will be governmental corruption and the growing police-state. We the People cannot stand another minute of this pretender-King destroying our country, and we MUST get rid of all politicians like him. We need candidates that truly care about the American people, not the corporate lobbyists that line their pockets in backroom deals.
