Do cities enforce smoking bans and drug laws because they do not want the illeagal immigrants to be harmed by second hand smoke or buy pot?

i think there is growing acceptance of pot as not a harmful drug in the populace. in recent years we have seen the spread of "medical marijuana" states, mostly in the west. several cities have taken steps to effectively decriminilize marijuana, or set it as a low priority for cops. ballot measures in colorado and nevada came close to winning a majority in favor of completely decriminilizing pot, for recreational use as well as medical use.

pot is legal in holland and practically legal in germany, switzerland, and the united kingdom.

do you think that within the next ten or fifteen years, pot will be fully decriminilized in the united states? or at least in some states?

I think it will, because as today's baby boomer generation becomes the senior citizens of the next ten plus years and today's young people become middleaged and more and more young people come into voting age, the percentage of the total population that will have used marijuana will have increased so much??!!!

Army Reservist Killed By Police After Standoff.
Leonardtown, MD A man who authorities believe was an Army Reservist just called up to serve in Iraq has been fatally shot by police in a standoff that began on Christmas.

St. Mary's County Sheriff Tim Cameron says 28-year-old James Emerick Dean, in the military, was shot by a sheriff's deputy Tuesday afternoon. The sheriff says Dean had pointed a gun at a tactical team that was about to use gas to try to force him out of his father's house. The military man did not want to go back to Iraq. A nurse in my Doctors pratice informed my doctor that she saw me driving after receiving a narcotic in the office, the statement is compleatly false. I received 2 perscriptions and a shot of phenagrien, I have tried to clear this up with my docter but the nursing staf will not put me through to him and they will not register the complaint against the nurse either, and because of this false statement I have lost the doctor I have been seeing for 17 years. now I cant get the medical treatment for my very serious health problems, and I also worry that this nurse may hurt someone with this behavior of hers, this is serious misconduct for a nurse. The letter I received from my Doctors office was sent via the uspostal service certified, and my record at the doctors office should show the treatment I received that day. I would like to take them to court for malpratice 1 for pain and suffering, 2 for defimation, 3, Slander, 4 maltious intent, but who do I talk with first? etc.

Hello, everyone! We are a young engaged couple from Egypt. We are both 22. I have a degree in business administration and my fiance has a degree in mechatronics engineering. We both are very fluent in English and have super computer skills. We are very open-minded and hard workers. We would like to live and work in the US, England or New Zealand. Are you familiar with any migration programs in those countries that might suit us? Thanks!
