A lame duck president is one who cannot be re-elected, has seen his or her final mid-term election and is losing (or has lost) political credibility. Using that definition, Bush is a lame duck president.

Lame duck (politics), an elected official who has lost a re-election or who did not seek re-election, but continues to hold office in between the time of the election and the time of the inauguration of the successor.

Your point? He's already been elected twice, two terms is all they're allowed by law.

While I'm here, let me ask this. When will people start to realize that producing actual facts gains you far more credibility in the public arena than name calling? If you disagree with someone then state why, spark a healthy debate instead of resorting to snide comments.

Yeah; as soon as he was elected for his second term he technically became a lame duck president. He's even more so now, because he's facing a congress that is controlled by the other party.
