Hello, everyone! We are a young engaged couple from Egypt. We are both 22. I have a degree in business administration and my fiance has a degree in mechatronics engineering. We both are very fluent in English and have super computer skills. We are very open-minded and hard workers. We would like to live and work in the US, England or New Zealand. Are you familiar with any migration programs in those countries that might suit us? Thanks!

Hello there.
I have lived in all three of these countries, and have now finally moved to New Zealand. I guess that says a few things about the other two.
;-)
But let's be more generous:

The US are certainly a great place, but you will need to make sacrifices to live there. One is that the population is heavily armed and often excruciatingly religious (could be OK if you don't mind that), working hours are very long and leave is surprisingly short for a developed country; health care is very expensive, and immigrants may experience a measure of mistrust and xenophobia that can be a bit annoying. Other than that, there is nothing wrong with living in the US at all, and it offers a nice lifestyle and a great variety of settings.

The UK is probably the most civilized, cosmopolitan, and openminded country in the world. Paid holidays, social services, retirement plans etc. are generous and socialized, and earnings are high, taxes low. But crime is rampant, properties cost a fortune, and you may feel that you aren't getting much glory for the money other than a nice car, as the houses are small and the towns can seem grimy.

New Zealand combines the advantages of both the US and UK, with one sorry exception: The pay is low here (about 60% of UK-levels, or 80% of US levels in the education field, which is the one I know about). But so is the cost of living.

I won't recommend one over the other, but I can tell you that immigration procedures are going to be swift and courteous in the UK, slow and very, very courteous in NZ, and slow and painful in the US.

I have lived in both the US and NZ. Pay is much lower, and the cost of living is much higher in NZ. Also, I find the weather very cold. But I agree with previous responses--do as much research as possible. The US is large and very diverse, so it is really important to research the specific states or cities that you are considering. Good luck!

U.S. has more opportunities. England and NZ are expensive to live in. The supposedly free health care system in NZ sucks big time. People have worsened on the waiting list.

You need to do more research on the countries you desire to live in. After research narrow down the choices to one and go for it. I am sure you would be an asset to any country you chose to live in. Happy Adventures!

Stay the hell away from the US and England, they're going full-blown totalitarian within about 2 more years. You think Stalinism and NAZIsm was bad? Watch the rising police state in the US and Britain..

Go to New Zealand, you'll thank yourself so much for it.
