Most Americans are relatively innocent and ignorant, yet very innovative. Because their country has been a super power for decades, and the politicians only act in ways that get themselves elected, not for the good of the country in the long run, the American people have been programmed in such a way that in fact are making them more stupid. Just look at the overall academic results, the Americans are way behind many other countries in the world. Look at the fashion they have created, now teenagers dress like hookers. The entire country's savings is less than the borrowings, and still their president is asking the people to do more shopping. Yet most Americans still think they are one of the smartest people, that's why most of the world find the Americans arrogant.

I must admit that I do have a soft spot for Americans. Your power and weakness, lack of resolve and total untrammeled determination, You ideals and ideas, and those insuperable contradictions that make You great, simple, profound, humble and, I have no reason to disbelieve, the world's most homogenistic compromise.
To know You is to both Love and Loath You. Yet I very much doubt that You would have it any other way, America is after all made up of Americans, which makes You each, not simply the sum total of You parts, but rather a unified Whole.

(Albeit, I could very possibly be wrong)

(but I think not)

The Americans I know personally I like.
The Us government I find distasteful.
I worked in London through all the I RA bombings and saw noraid ( not sure of the spelling) collections being done in the US to support Sinnfein.
The US government view of a terrorist seams to be anyone apposed to them.
Terrorism against others doesn't count.
and before the very tragic events of 9/11 didn't touch the US, so didn't matter to them.
All the mid west stuff (with god on our side) is irritating.
But as I said at the start, All the individual Americans I have met I have liked immensely and count them as friends.
I have to sate I have never visited the US,so these are merely long range opinions

Americans are Non-Americans gathered in America driving the local Americans (Red Indians) to the forest. These Non-Americans get into America to make money. They only know money. They don't have family values. They are non-committal to the family values because they drive their children out and ask them to be independent rather self reliant on attaining 18, inspite of the fact that the parents can afford to extend support to them to concurr better education thereby acquiring better values for their life and increase their earning capacity. These Non-American Americans (today's americans who got into america) are ruthless people when it comes to exploit the other real non-americans more of it a real developing non-american. Remember, the Non-Americal American living in the U.S.A. got themselves migrated to USA or shunted out of their country because of thier indisciplined life style not acceptable to their country of origin. Example, many tennis players, political leaders, etc. The Non-American Americans are non patriots too. Because, when it comes to their country of origin, they prefer to call themselves American than establishing their Non-American American status and fall on their country of origin. In general, USA is a place where people of different origin come together under one roof and the only thing that is common among them is their non-patriotism to their country of origin. There are people with the origin of British, Swiz, Portorico, Asian countries, African countries, Europian countries, Islamic Countries, but wish to get rid of their originship and feel proud to be called American. So non-patriotism and exploitative mentality are the basic feature of Americans.

i say they are nice people ,I know mostly that they don't judge a person from what country they come from but it seems their government is somewhat kind of prejudice and they think that they can pull strings anywhere just because they are rich country.Iknow they help a lot of poor countries, but when they cannot get what they want, beware.
