If they could, it would be a bad idea even if there was no hunger and war, etc.
Why?

There is no way people in the US can uunderstand the needs of bushmen in Africa or vice versa. YOu'd end up with large population countries like China and the US dominating the small ones in elections, and backwater places getting hozed.

The world would turn into the AMerican state of Pennsylvania. If you go county by county in the state of Pennsylvania, all but two counties are Republican. Pennsylvania frequently goes to the Democrats during the Presidential elections. Why? ecause Philidelphia and Pittsburgh have as many people in them as the rest of the state combined.

The truth is such a large "nation" would be more fairly and more efficiently run by a dictator than a democracy, but that would only work if the dictator actually wanted to be fair. Human nature being what it is, they never do want to be fair.

I've heard for years that's where it is all headed. With the U.N. it doesn't seem that far fetched.

Also, I've been hearing for years that the money system will eventually end up in one currency for the entire world. Things like super computers in Europe will have everybody in the databases. They will have our total identities, they will want everybody to be microchipped so they can keep track of our money. You'll be scanned everytime you buy or sell and more.

I've been hearing all this since the 80's. The super computers and the mirco chips are already a reality.

I guess we'll just have to see what happens.

Sorry, no. A single monolithic government like that would inevitably be abused and turned into a totalitarian dictatorship, Stalin's wet dream as it were. Such is the problem with government, I guess.

I don't think so for two reasons. First humans tend to be rather tribalistic in nature, I really don't think we'll ever get rid of wars. Second the potential for corruption and abuse would be elevated in such a monolithic government.

This single government will be in effect when Christ rules for 1000 years. Man will never be able to bring this about successfully.
