We have Scottish MPs in Westminister who can have a say on English affairs yet not the other way round . Also it would put a stop to the Euro Fedaralists who want to abolish England all together and create regional assemblies. So i say a English Parliament for a independent England outside of the EU.

The word 'People' is used in both the First and Second Amendments. Yet, according to some anti-gunners, and some politicians and judges, the Second Amendment is meant to apply only to the 'militia', which they claim is the National Guard. My question is this: Why would the authors of the Bill of Rights use the word 'People' any differently in the First and Second Amendments. I maintain that the word People means everyone of us! Don't answer if you haven't reread the Bill of Rights.

If the legal majority citizens of USA had rule & control like CONGRESS currently HAS, over Money/Power/Wealth! don't you think you & your family would have more equal oppurtunity and the societies needs would meant? Instead of being ruled by a Mob wealthy ruling class behind the scenes pulling the strings of politicians etc. Please NO brainwash NAY-SAYERS about how it can't be done save that for your insider ruling class calling the shots NOW!

My brother (21) was involved in an altercation with a girlfriend. Here are some details, if necessary:
He unfortunately became part of a love triangle (the girl, himself, and her ex-boyfriend). Things became heated when she attemped to break up with my brother for her ex. During this time she called her ex who (unbeknownst to anyone) brought police to her apartment, claiming that my brother would not leave when asked. He was handcuffed against a wall while the police investigated the situation, and asked the girlfriend if she had been physically abused, to which she said no. He was let go, told to go home and never to come in contact with the her again. Since then he has not. (I know for a fact he was not arrested - he lives with me and came home the night of the incident.)

I believe you should be able to kill them. If someone entered my home I would not hestitate to kill them and that should be legal since they broke into my house. Any thoughts on this- for or against?

I was abused by my husband, we were abandoned when he left to a new base. and now after JAG and IG cant get him to pay the BAH we are now homeless. The SGT major wont let us have an AER loan because he believes its best to send us home. Home for us is Alaska. We are now in FT Drum NY. This sgt major has made more hurdles to jump through rather than help us with a small loan that my husband and his unit has agreed to already. the only person in our way is this one sgt major. How do i get around this guy to get AER to approve of this loan.

Firstly, his personal email address is:

opikl@Parliament.uk

Failing that you could call him on 020 7219 3000 and could thus tell him what you think directly and ask whether he should have stuck with Sian the weathergirl (who he was engaged to) and whether an elected member of parliament should spend so much time out partying on expenses and ultimately picking up young girls who he is old enough to father. The guy even does stand up comedy (although I think he may just get heckled the next time he does it).

What's it gonna take to get you to vote in the US and accept some accountability for what happens in our country and abroad? Silence will not fix anything no matter what your views are.

If he maintains his seat while he recovers who has the ture majority in the Senate? That is to say there could be tie votes that the sitting VPO may have to caste votes in. So how should the Senate truely be org'd in a fair fashion.

No digs here it just occured to me over the weekend see with 2 independants and the present break down of votes it appears no one truely has control of the senate and it may came down to an issue by issue vote or voting. So what are your thoughts?

A di threw hard cover books at their heads, i was sent to the pit just for making an unauthorized water call. another thing about water, some recruits were made to do bends and thrusts after a 5 mile hump just because they drank water from their ccanteens without asking permission. a few recruits been held back a week in training for violations they never done, a guy was blanket partied, he ran to the DI's duty hut, banged on the door, and the DI laughed in his face and slammed the door shut. my question, is, why the army, nay, and air force dont use these sadistic tactics but the marine corps feels they have the right to do so?

(In this movie Travolta works for the government deep undercover)

Jackman: War? Who are we at war with?
Travolta: Anyone who impinges on America's freedom. Terrorist states, Stanley. Someone must bring their war to them. They bomb a church, we bomb 10. They hijack a plane, we take out an airport. They execute American tourist, we tactically nuke* an entire city. Our job is to make terrorism so horrific that it becomes unthinkable to attack Americans.

(*I wouldn't say nuke a city, but maybe do some damage.)
