OK, This has happened twice to me (that I know of) in my current relationship. My BF has either found or guessed my password to my Yahoo email and has gone in, read my emails, even at one point taking an email i sent to an ex-BF and showing it to his friends and family! The other night, he admitted to me that the thought crossed his mind to spy on me again but he didn't have a plan as to how to do it. He decided against spying becuz he knew how much it would hurt me and end the relationship. I told him he made a wise choice as I was planning to get "legal" on him and call the cops if i found out he was spying again! He sort of laughed and said he didn't think the cops would help me in such a small situation. He says he's aware of my intentions and won't spy again, but he's said that twice before already. I want him to know I'm serious! Don't ask why I don't leave him, thats a whole other messed deal. I wanna know, are there any laws to protect me from this happening again?

Well this sucks for soldiers. Democrats always say how they will help the soldiers but they never do. A lot of people aren't going to have what they need in Iraq now, and their paycheck is going to be smaller. What do you think?

I'm not being threatend but i made it clear that i no longer wanted to make contact with a particular person. the contact stopped until recently. from what i hear the cops are only gonna get involved if i get threatend or bashed in the head. I'd really hate if i had to end up missing in order for the police to become involved. So do i absolutely have to be threatend in order to get a restraining order?

Someone (maybe my ex) keeps calling me from her home phone (duh) and hanging up. My caller id shows the number. She never leaves a message on my answering machine or if I answer it, the person just hangs up right away.

Imagine, if you will, what would happen to the world if the terrorists have their way and America is brought to its knees. The American economy crashes and the wealthiest country on earth evaporates. The country which is the largest market for trade goods is gone. The country which led the world in advancements in science, medicine, and aid to impoverished nations falls victim to its enemy. Just what would the world be like afterward?
I wonder if the rest of the world has pondered that question?

This is an important point, the answer to this may well have prevented every one of the major massacres in the last century!
If, given a situation wherein a soldier's commanding officer ordered him/her to shoot and kill a certain target, would the said soldier be allowed to have any opinion whatsoever in the matter?
The target could be any one of the following:
A stone-throwing protester, peaceful protestor, person(s) belonging to a certain ethnic group, all male members of fighting age (meaning 15 & up) in a certain group of arrested people, a kid who's trying to hit you because you just killed his family .. the list goes on.
Every one of the above cases has received a bullet in the head at some or the other point in the last century. In every case, dissension by the soldiers could have saved lives.
Has any country yet held up the right of the soldier to say "NO" to his officer, without threat? Because the people who did these executions probably didn't really want to.
