The Iraqis are the ones doing the killing. The American soldiers are only trying to complete the mission and go home. It certainly says a great deal about these 'peaceful' people... they won't even liberate their own women.

I don't think anyone really knows but I guess I'd say the Iraqi's a little more than the military but I'm not sure if I'm getting the real info. I remember 3 years ago they were saying Iraqis were lining up for miles to join the military. But yet they still don't have enough troops to secure the country. I'm just confused on the whole subject.. Why is this taking soo long??

Its the Iraqi people but not as a fault. As a problem with their mentality from the years of oppression and suppression. When the US was established it took 10 years to finalize the beliefs of our govt and most of those people already knew what true freedom is. The Iraqi people have the beaten wife mentality. This is shown in bad relationships in how a beaten wife always returns to the abuser because they think they deserve it and it is all their fault when actuality it is just that is all they know. The mind takes comfort in what you are used to and to change the entire fabric of your life takes time and reinforcement.
This day and age people have a get it now microwave it and go mentality and in reality the world doesn't work that way. It just takes time. You cant speed that process up you just have to work as hard as you can and it will come in time.

Neither, Its the Democrats that wont get behind the military or the prudent so we can win this war of terrorism. Your problem is you have to have someone to blame instead of figuring out what the problems are.
