By the way, if Putin really killed Livitenko, why didn't he use a more subtle way than Polonium? Knowing th KGB, they wouldn't want to expose the murder to the world.

I think Russia is still a very strong country and many people are underestimating its power...
No,I don't think Russia will revert to communism...I am sure that Mr Putin would love to be the president of Russia for a few more years, but I don't think he will establishes his dictatorship...In 2008 there are going to be elections and we will see who is going to be the next president of Russia ,after Putin... As for Litvinenko,I think that if Putin didn't ordered his killing,he has something to do with his death...Litvinenko was seen as a traitor in Moscow,so he paid for his treason...

I love Russia as it is my homeland. The situation we have in our country now, under Putin, is the best variant we've known if we take into consideration that Russia has bever been democratic( yet), and it hasnt been more democratic and liberal than it is now, i think.
As for Litvinenko's dear, of course God knows best, but u think that he was killed by Berezovskiy. I think he used polonium because it's traces lead to Russia, and he wanted to make everyone think that Putin killed him. the truth is that Litvinenko has never been a spy of Russian Federation, he simply worked for Russia's special forces, he btrayed Russia and after then tryed to set our country up. It's very wierd that he blamed Putin in his death, because even if it was Putin, how would Litvinenko know.... But anyway, may God judge him know. I also think that if Russian forces tryed to kill him, they would choose something less "loud" than radioactive substance...

We're destined to have another round of nuclear standoff, especially with the Aggie clamoring for blasting Iran to the stone age. Russia's got big investments and interests. Any US invasion in the near future will probably push Putin into totalitarianism, and Russia back to an industrial monstrosity. I swear, if I don't get off this damned rock soon, I'll be swimming in radiated liquified humans..

Putin probably killed Litvinenko, who else had a motive & access to Po210? We will have to wait & see how much power Putin manages to acculmulate. I don't think the Russians want to go back to that failed economic system.

Dictatorships don't revert to communism, they stay dictatorships thanks to technology.
