I know they are all deceased. But the government has no provisions for wreaths,markers,memorials-nothing.Yet you see U.S. officials attending solemn services for German war dead,Japenese, pardon me Japanese{I wouldn't want to offend any of the federal governments former enemies by spelling their name incorrectly} who died in nuclear {or nuculer} attacks.George bush in vietnam{better late then never} uWhy not forgive your own citizens, and their decendents?Even Abe Lincoln said, after being asked to set the tone for reconstruction:"I'd let them up easy" or Robert E. Lee:Now ya'll go home and become good Americans. So how about it,Should the fedaral government & the Veterans administration forgive and forget? They always accuse the southerners of keeping the rebellion alive,-how about them?Should they recognize these brave soldiers who lost their life &limb fighting for their states rights ?
